「Our room was very nice, with great lighting for reading in bed. The room was clean and comfy, with a window seat that doubled as a suitcase rest. Wish the soap had been bigger. The staff was nice.」

「I booked two rooms, each with two queen beds. Our rooms were on two entirely different floors. Check in was easy. The pool area was fine, but the floor tiles are extremely slippery when bare-footed. The lock on the fitness room was broken and just lying on the floor. The equipment there was fine, but there were no sanitizing wipes, cups for water, or tissues. The rooms themselves were fine. The stairwells were pretty dirty and looked like no one from the staff ever bothered to clean them. The...

「We could hear the guy snoring next to us and was loud. But we were able to sleep. We set an alarm for the breakfast which ended at 9:30am. I got there at 910am, the biscuits were hard as a rock and gravy was dried up. The only option was cereal, which I don’t eat usually. We ended up going out to eat for breakfast. Other than that - it was a good stay, dark room and great shower!」

「Truly a historic building with a warm and cozy atmosphere. Staff is very friendly. Indoor pool is large and clean. Outdoor pool was not open yet but looks wonderful. The view of Union City in the valley below was so pretty. We were upgraded from a standard queen room to a king, which was a pleasant surprise. Lobby has a large fireplace and great staircase. We enjoyed playing a couple of games of chess there, accompanied by a drink from the bar. Hotel is older and may lack a few things but...

「Solid golf course (Lakeview) for beginners or people who aren’t great at golf. Fairways are open and easy to stay in. Hotel was solid, friendly staff, easy commute to Cooper’s Rock, WVU, restaurants around. Shower pressure was a bit light but did the job. Highly recommend」

「Arrived for an overnight stay while traveling. The hotel had water flooding it (it was not raining). We had to step through puddles to get to an odorous, rundown hallway. The room was outdated, dirty and rundown. We used the bathroom quickly, heard some sort of critter, and left. We moved to a different hotel for the night. This is a 2 star hotel at best. Avoid. 」

「Nice place to stay before going to Ruby Memorial for surgery. Was put in a smoking room, which is not what I wanted. It smelled as if another person had used the bathroom just before leaving the room. The beds were clean but this room needs a new carpet, or better yet, replace with vinyl flooring.」
