"We arrived late at night down a tiny, twisty dirt road after having been lost and exhausted from hours of travel. The castle was certainly impressive in the dark! Marzio was patient and communicative and settled us in even though we were so late. Bird song woke us to an idyllic setting, roses in bloom, views of the landscape and a perfect terrace for coffee. Throughout our stay Marzio was so helpful, checked in on us very day, had tips and helpful suggestions. We suggest doing the BBQ dinner...

"This is a great spot and a well maintained property. The room is very simple and rustic, but entirely functional, very well kept, and cozy. The road to the house is a steep dirt hill that will put some scratches in your car's undercarriage, so get the rental coverage or be prepared. Also, the WIFI is very weak and cell signal only available in a few spots in the room, so don't expect this to be a connected stay. Note to owner: the wifi hot spot you have in place is not very functional."

"This property and the hosts are wonderful! The home is beautifully updated and comfortable with everything you need for cooking. The outdoor spaces are also wonderful and very comfortable. The view from the large patio is spectacular! Silvia and her husband were very gracious & accommodating hosts, they brought us a beautiful bottle of local red wine and some cookies to enjoy. "This was the perfect way to end our trip, with our young family as we spent pretty much the whole day in the pool! There isn't a great deal directly around the resort, so make sure you've stocked up on food before you arrive....although, it's not far to drive into Pisa if you need supplies! "Nice quiet spot in the woods but very close to San Gimignano. Very clean. Comfortable beds. They don’t provide towels or soaps, but that is clear up front. You can rent towels if you want and they sell soap/ shampoo in the office. "

"The Toscana village is great - so relaxing. The long stay owners are very friendly and helpful, as are the staff. The onsite bar/restaurant is good, as is the pool. There is a local town in easy walking distance with many old buildings, nice bars, and places to eat. On Saturdays there is a food market, so you can stock up on salads, fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses, etc. We can't wait to go back."
