"The staff person was quick in responding my booking. Unfortunately the surrounding areas were obstructed by heavy snow causing dangerous conditions to walk to my room or the guest services. Also a light outside was on causing difficulty to sleep. Those issues could be easily solved if anyone pays attention to them. Good thing about the room is heating and hot water. That’s is a 10 out of 10. The bed was uncomfortable to sleep and that also could be fixed. "

"Although not a fancy 5 star hotel, the Fern Ridge was a very pleasant surprise! We had expected the lower rate to mean a small room without much comfort, but found the friendliness of the staff to go above and beyond what one would receive at ANY rated hotel. Jackie introduced herself as the housekeeper and was very kind to note she would accommodate anything we needed, their restaurant served reasonably priced meals, and located only moments from the Pocono Speedway. A quick drive to restaurants as well, you can’t beat this location! They provided all of the amenities we needed for the week as well. We will definitely be planning another stay!!"
