So the room itself was not the most beautiful room ever, but completely okay for the price. The hostel is very good located you’re very close to the ruin bars, but on the weekends it is a little loud in the hostel from the streets. I would definitely recommend the hostel for young people due to its price, the location and the self-check-in.
Everything was good, but there is a pub down and it is very noisy. It is open until 3am, if you have a sensitive sleep you will not be able to sleep well.
Otherwise everything is good, located in a cool area.
Booked here as I had accidently booked previous accommodation for one day less than the trip, and I am glad we were only here for one night. Instructions for check in were easy enough to follow so check in was smooth, the room albeit clean, did however leave a lot to be desired. Ceiling light bulb flickered constantly so didn't use that, had to move the lamp as the socket it was plugged into wasn't working, "queen sofa bed" didn't convert so left one us sleeping on a literal sofa, really thin mattress, very little effort had been made with it. Our neighbours were very noisy and had lights on all night, and due to there being a set of glazed doors seperating the two rooms with a poor excuse for a curtain could see this all night (see pic). Street below was very noisy but lots of bars and restaurants, so to be expected. This was however not helped by the secondary glazing missing on one window. Shared toilet/shower looked clean enough, and kitchen seemed pretty well equipped but didn't really use this. Seemed to be a strange amount of reed diffusers everywhere, mostly empty so not sure what the purpose of those was.
Also had to message to find out where the bedding for "sofa bed" was, but as yet I have still not had a reply (2 days after checking out)
I must preface this review by saying I didn't stay here. I originally booked it but was not happy and so booked alternative accomodation. I perhaps naively booked this under the impression it is a private room. That is true, but you are sharing toilet and kitchen space. The room upon arrival had the key within the door and so anyone could have had access to this prior to arrival. There were stains as shown in pictures, as well as a pill on the windowsill. As I didn't stay, I didn't see the bathroom and only glanced at the kicthen area so could not give a holistic review.
What I must say is that the price is really good for the location, and although I did not stay it was only due to my misinterpretation. I do advise the owners however to make it more clear on exactly and what is and isn't shared within the room.
This is in a fantastic location in Budapest, bars and restaurants immediately outside and a very short walk to attractions, its right in the centre of the city so perfect for sightseeing and a night out. However the place itself is not great. You are basically in a house share situation. There are 4 apartment rooms and a shared kitchen. I arrived to find towels hanging all over the shared area and the place smelt of cigarette smoke. The kitchen area had dirty cups left out. It's like a student house. The room itself was okay but extremely dated and rundown. There is a small kitchen area in the room with a sink. The tap was completely loose. There were two skylights, the blind on one wouldn't close so at dawn light came in. The shared bathroom was absolute disgusting. Did not feel clean at all. No lock on the door which isnt ideal especially for a woman. The second day and night there was no toilet. There was another separate toilet which you could also not lock the door in because the handle fell off, the sink in this one was full of dirty water the entire time. There were two hand towels provided but no shower towel. While not the accommodation's responsibility the stairwell going up to the room had litter everywhere. It was cheap accommodation but you get what you pay for. I was staying for two nights and just needed a bed and shower so could just about tolerate it but I would really recommend looking elsewhere.

I want to warn other travelers about this accommodation. When we checked in, we were met with a number of serious issues that made the stay completely impossible.
Several electrical outlets were loose and hanging from the wall – a direct safety hazard, especially with small children present. The beds were not made, there were no sheets available, and on top of that, there was no hot water when I tried to shower. The apartment was in a shockingly poor condition and absolutely not ready for guests.
After contacting them and waiting without a solution, we were forced to leave the apartment late in the evening, around 9:00 PM, with our two small children. This was an extremely stressful and completely unacceptable situation.
This accommodation did not meet even basic standards of safety or quality. I unfortunately cannot recommend this apartment to anyone.

The property was okay value, however the bathroom didn’t have a lock and the shower head was fixated with a rubber band which wouldn’t stay on. Shared space was good.
The room was clean. The beds and the pillow are not comfortable, you sleep on springs. There is a blockage in the shared bathroom, one light bulb is working, it is dark. The door does not lock with a key.The hotel is located on a party street, noise from the street
The room was very shabby and poorly decorated with bare wires coming out from the wall. It is on the second floor above a night club/bar producing noise for most of the night at weekends meaning it is very difficult to sleep until about 3am.
There are 2 sky-lights in the room, one of which has no blind and the other doesn't open. The bed linen was very old and stained. There is a shared toilet and shower room which has no locks on the doors. The toilet leaks when flushed and leaves a pool of water on the floor and one of the washbasin's was blocked. There were more wires coming out from the wall in the shower room. There is a communal kitchen which was very poorly equipped with no kettle or microwave.
We would have checked in somewhere else had we been staying for longer than 2 nights. The worst place we have ever stayed.
Alles was vies en stoffig en kapot. In badkamers kapotte douchekop ,in de keuken kapotte droger en verlichting die knipperde ,lampen zonder lampenkappen.
