"The hotel was even better than expected, and we had high hopes. The view from the roof top restaurant was unbeatable. Starting the day with that view and their excellent complementary breakfast (not your normal hotel breakfast) was amazing. Rooms were funky and well designed. Location was great, as were the staff. Book it!"

"I made my up the very steep stairs and found the street despite a heavily faded sign. But, when I rang the bell nobody came. I waited around for nearly an hour, tried to find a phone number to call (not listed on Expedia). Finally I caught the bus back to Santiago for that night. Very disappointed."

"I liked everything about this hotel!! Excellent location with a gorgeous view from 2 balconies. Beautifully restored, clean with such kind, helpful staff. Karin, who handled my many messages back and forth to her, patient ly, as well as, when I was there! You could tell she really wanted to make your stay as comfortable as possible. "Everything was great, well decorated, super clean and comfortable. I just didn't like much the surrands. Had to park the car a few blocks away and I didn't feel safe to walk there in the evening."

"The view of the Bay/water front was beautiful. But if you were looking for the beach you need to go further up or down the coast. The hotel is clean, staff very friendly and the breakfast was more than just coffee & bread. You had fruit, egg, sausage, pastries and so much more to eat. This area was very walkable. As you walked the city the dining options were plentiful from Pizza to Chinese to local dining. Public transportation was easily found. The only disappointing aspect of the city was the Graffiti that was everywhere. But we enjoyed our time in Valparaiso. "
