"We chose the property because it’s close to the train station, but what we didn’t know is that the staff are wonderful, the breakfast is a fresh and full spread of ash morning, and the beds and comfy. The property is simple and old but it didn’t feel dated or in the least. The only could have used a small fridge or iron, but we also didn’t ask, so maybe that have those on hand or could help if needed. Thank you for the lovely stay! We’d stay again! "This was a perfect choice of hotel a block from the train station. Excellent service and the staff are friendly and polite. They serve a variety of breakfast, cold and hot foods. Love the aesthetic of the dining area, looked forward to eating and enjoying breakfast every morning. The hotel is also walkable to the town. I would definitely stay here again."

"The room was tiny. The bed almost completely filled the room and was one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in, almost as hard as a bare floor. The bathroom was laid out in such a way that the toilet was right up against the shower making it difficult to sit on the toilet because my knees hit the shower door. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The location is convenient. If they have larger rooms, take them because the economy room is not comfortable at all."

"Approach to the property is through an area of town which felt rather rundown and unsafe. The carpark is fully secured, though, the hotel is lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room appeared newly renovated and was fabulous - comfortable bed, external electric shutter that fully blocked all light, enabling a restful sleep. We made use of the large bath, too. A nice breakfast was selected and worth the money. An easy walk to the centre of the old town with lots of eating places...

"This was a clean safe place to stay. The sofa bed however required a mattress to sleep on. It was very thin. "

"Lovely hotel- in a great spot. Excellent breakfast- lots of variety for all tastes. Only thing that let the room down was the creeky floor of the whole room that gave the impression to the occupants below and led to a complaint from reception that we were stomping about when in fact we had no shoes on at all! This then made us anxious when we moved around the room which was unfortunate and slightly soured our overall experience."
