“Room:
😃 excellent cleanliness, dramatic scenic view, well designed and kept, bigger size than usual (specially the bathroom), unique features - The double shower…wonderful - the noise of the sea from inside the room…very relaxing.
😐 no toothbrush and paste provided, which based on my experience, typically hotels do. Although the noise of the sea from inside the room (door closed) can be relaxing, it can also give you trouble to sleep if you are noise sensitive - note when we have been there……

“Generally good to very good. En-suite bathroom (Rm16) could do with a refresh, especially toilet and shower.
Continental breakfast - boiled eggs would make a big difference.
Location, parking, bedroom layout and views all excellent as were the staff.”

“Love this Hotel. The staff are always helpful and friendly. There is a wonderful relaxing ambience throughout. This was our second stay at The White Buck and won't be out last. Totally recommend to any one wanting a quiet relaxing stay in the New Forest.”

“The room was perfect, lovely bathroom as well, however the hotel experienced a power outage overnight & therefore there was no hot water, lighting, no hot food for breakfast - and for whatever reason the toilets wouldn’t flush, which nobody seemed to realise. We had to pack the relative darkness looking for our belongings from the lights from our phones, and finding a way down the corridors in a huge sprawling hotel in the dark was quite tricky. I realise this is not exactly the hotels fault but……

“Beautiful hotel with no expense spared on recent fit out with great furnishings. Very comfortable hotel with fantastic staff who's attention to detail is fantastic. I mentioned at lunch that I was Coeliac and laster when we checked in to our room gluten free biscuits were placed on the tea tray. A small detail but I have never experianced this before in an hotel. The food in the restaurant is also first class. Unfortunately we were unable to return on Sunday for lunch as it was fully booked!”
