「Great location! Amenities were adequate and clean. Loved the daily happy hour option and nice breakfast available in the morning. In walking distance to main shopping and dining areas. Short drive to mansion tours and cliff walk. Daughter loved it. Would stay again」

「Interesting history to the Jailhouse Inn. I wish they would have more historical decoration. We were in room 8 on the main floor. The stairs were above us so it was noisy when people walked up and down the stairs. Otherwise street noise was tolerable. Nice breakfast with cold cuts, cheese and fresh berries. No coffee maker in the room, but coffee was always available in the breakfast room. Small in room fridge located in the closet. They have parking lot located to the left of the Inn.」

「The hotel is in the midst of renovations. The outside is in need of repair, but the rooms and common areas are clean and updated. The deck could use some paint, etc., but the view is fabulous and the seating is comfortable. The pool was clean - hot tub was not working. Front desk staff was courteous and pleasant. Housekeeping staff was also very pleasant. Maintenance staff was hard at work cleaning and sprucing the property up. Honestly, we went expecting the worst based on so many negative...
