「Great for our dog .Made to feel welcome 」

「We had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and were shown to the room which was clean and bright. The food that evening was excellent, and as it was a warm evening we spent a pleasant time sitting outside with our drinks afterwards. Continental breakfast was served promptly at 8 am and the addition of fresh strawberries and blueberries was a definite plus! Check in / check out was swift and efficient. 「Fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were all lovely, and we even met the owners when we checked out. We ended up chatting with them for a good 20–30 minutes—they were so friendly and welcoming. The room itself was a charming little cottage-style room. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed: a comfortable double bed, plenty of space to put our clothes, a desk with lots of useful information, a TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a beautiful shower. 「Liked the garden, but it needs a little C&A... Disabled car parking near to our room (No.5) was an excellent bonus. Breakfast was excellent but a bit expensive. Staff were all very courtious and helpful. Direct booking rather than via an agency is preferred. We will certainly be recomending the Lion to our friends and relations and using you again next time we are in the area.
