“This is a very interesting place set in an 18C mansion. The owner is very friendly and gave us a tour of the historic public rooms. The room was huge, very well heated (it’s January) and comfortable. The lovely garden under lemon trees was charming. Nice breakfast served in the sumptuous ballroom.”

“ The hotel staffer is nice, very helpful and we can communicate with each other in English. The hotel is close to train station and town centre but it takes a little time to locate it. The hotel sign board is quite small and not so easy to identify. There is an Asian restaurant next to the hotel which I enjoy having food there. The hotel is located on the 2nd floor of the building and there is no elevator. I appreciate and thank that the hotel staffer gives me a helping hand to deliver luggage……

“The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They offered recommendations for the area as well as nearby towns to visit. Many of the staff spoke English very well and the others understood our broken Italian well when we attempted to practice our Italian. My wife has celiac disease and they catered to her gluten free diet for breakfast. “A delightful stay in Vittoria wine country. Relaxing, great food, friendly staff. The room was wonderful. They provided fresh drinking water every day and some fresh fruit in the room. I thought that was a nice touch. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening with one of their fabulous aperitivo cocktails and watching the cats play. The dinner was a fixed menu. I was there in late fall and the heating system worked very well. The bathroom was modern and quite clean and there was plenty of room in the shower.
