"We just returned from a fantastic stay at the Luxemburg Beachfront Cottage and the property exceeded our expectations.The communication with the owner ahead of our trip was excellent - he was quick to respond and very informative, which made planning easy.The house was well-stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking full meals, and there were lots of extras we appreciated, like lawn games, kayaks, and lifejackets.The private beach, just steps from the house, was wonderful for our group. The shallow water and sandy beach made it easy for the kids to swim and play safely, and for the adults to relax while watching them (make sure to bring water shoes - the water is rocky!). We also really appreciated the peaceful setting and beautiful views in the evening - the sunsets were a great way to wind down each day!One thing to note: the area is fairly quiet in terms of restaurants and grocery options, so it’s worth bringing what you need with you.We had a wonderful time and would absolutely return!"

"For our families July 4th getaway I booked two rooms. My wife & I enjoyed one room. Our daughter, son-in-law two grandsons along with their Golden Retriever enjoyed an adjoining room. Having a long list of requests I thought it best to speak to speak to someone at the hotel. I spoke to Sierra by phone on the day the reservations were placed. Sierra answered & listened, although she couldn't promise she assured me she would do all she could to accommodate our family's requests. Upon our arrival Sierra greeted us. Sierra went above and beyond in accommodating every request. Upon our arrival we found two cribs completely set-up for our grandchildren. We were also provided adjoining rooms where my wife & I were able to assist attending to our grandsons without having to venture out into the hallway. We enjoyed the hot tub & pool. The breakfasts provided had something for everyone from eggs & sausage to waffles, cereal, muffins, toast, yogurt, several different choices of juice, and great coffee. There was even coffee available in the lobby after breakfast was done. In addition, there was a gentleman who was at the front desk on Saturday evening (I failed to get his name). I make mention of him because we ordered dinner from Sonnys & planned to eat it at the lakefront. Unfortunately it rained. My family & I had no other option but to return to the hotel to have our dinner. This gentleman opened the cafeteria & allowed my family & I access to the tables & chairs. We will return!!!"

"Our family of four adored this property. Russ and Stacy were very accommodating and the listing was identical to what we received. The charm of the property was exactly what we were looking for to explore the Door County area. Minutes from downtown and plenty of room for us to park the boat and charge it. "
