"We checked in early at 1130 and they stored our luggage till room was clean about 2 hours later,also helpful in bringing to room as there were a few stairs despite elevator to our floor! We loved the free flavorful juice machine as well as both hot/cold water dispenser in Lobby.They arranged for a water taxi to get us to airport on our departure day,and helped us load the “taxi” with our suitcases! The air conditioning worked well until last night where it didn’t seem to work as well,however we never informed staff about this until we checked out the next am. The room we booked were 2 singles luxury room,the beds were together,except sheets were made up as 2 single beds,we chose this as were afraid double bed would be too small for us, as are used to a Queen at home! We had plenty of room! Only drawback was design of bathroom,the toilet was very close to sink! The shower was very nice once you figured out pictures as there were both “ body sprays” and hand held shower head as well!"

"Very central location which is great for walking to key sights, though it can be very busy! Also means it can be quite loud outside at night. Hotel was clean and staff were great. Nice little bar to the side that’s part of the hotel. Continental breakfast was just enough every morning. Room decor was beautiful."

"Our room was broken and in poor condition overall. Shower head arm & toilet seat were broken and not fixed until the next day. Same for the safe as well. The carpet had been cut out in pieces and new pieces glued down. The closet door was off the track and resting against the side of the closet up against the wall. Where the wall meets the ceiling has been painted over the wallpaper to try and cover what appears to be mold. The AC temperature is limited, doesn’t go below 22.2*. There is a hole in the wall at the bathroom door frame as well. The staff at check in was unfriendly and not helpful to have the items in the room fixed. Apparently he is the sole worker in the hotel @ 5pm onwards. We asked to have the room changed, early check out with a refund or partial refund and every option/suggestion was declined. The maintenance staff were friendly and tried to assist where possible. The breakfast was different from what we are accustomed to - cold ham or salami with cheese on a dinner roll or croissant. There was jam, honey or Nutella available for the croissant as well. Lots of people were complaining about the coffee. The juice was good! We didn’t try the corn flakes. I would never stay here again and can’t recommend this hotel. There are too many other options available."
