St. Louis Cabanne House Hotels

"The hotel is functioning as some sort of housing for what appeared to be unhoused people. That in and of itself is not the issue (although it would have been nice to know). The parking lot, lobby, hallways, and elevator were dirty. Cigarette butts littered the parking lot, and were even in the hallway. The uncarpeted floors in the hallway and elevators were sticky and un-mopped throughout our four night stay. There is an odor of marajuana"

"This is an older property, but very clean, comfortable, spacious and convenient to downtown Clayton. Parking was convenient and free on the weekend. Breakfast was better than average, with chef-made omelets and waffles. "

"Dust in bathroom baseboards and on TV’s. 80 dollars for overnight parking with hotel or 40 with parking garage. Room service is convenient but a bit overpriced."

"When we checked into the hotel, our room was 77°. The front desk was called three times and an employee did come up to “reset” the thermometer. We were told no other rooms were available and the room was still 77° when we checked out the next day. "

"Wonderful space and perfect location! My husband and I worked from the suite for a few days and it was perfect. We were able to walk to many locations - restaurants, arcade, ice cream shoppes, park, chess club, etc. It was a wonderful stay and the owners are very responsive!"
