“Spectacular View. Nice staff. Decent restaurant. The only complaint is lack of sound proofing.”

“Starting with the room: The room was great. There was a great view of the lake from the window and everything was as advertised. The breakfast was amazing. I loved having the pancakes both days. The restaurant at other times was also good and there was a complimentary beer tasting for the guests. The staff were amazingly nice. I really liked the guy that checked us in. However, all of the staff were nice. The hotel amenities are great after a long day of hiking or whatever you're doing in……

“The pools and the area: amazing! the view from our room was breathtaking and unforgetable. I loved hight ceilings. Although, I was dissapointed by the hair dryer as it was really old and not a strong one. It was like somthing you would expect to see at a very cheap hotel. Also, the have a nice tradition of putting chocolate on the pillow before the bedtime, but they only put it 1 time out of our 3 nights. It is fine with me, it just the kids heard it and then they were a bit dissapointed.……

“Stunning views from restaurant and room across as far as lake Arenal. All the food offerings were fantastic from breakfast to evening meals using home grown and home made items. Regular supply of wildlife to keep you entertained. Only slight negative was a reasonably long walk up a steep hill to get to the nearest shops etc but that’s no fault of the hotel. Also be aware there is no A/C in the rooms if you are as lucky as we were with the weather.”

“Excellent choise quite far from “downtown” but super close to the reserve and in the hotel you can spot flora and fauna as well as the reserve ”
