Family vacation

the house is BEAUTIFUL! The location is PERFECT! This home is the best of both worlds. It’s private with its own pool and beach yet the town of flamingo and flamingo beach is just a short walk or drive if you’re looking for more action.

Review of Casa Flores

Overall it was a good property. There is one room with no window or view. To reach the pool, you have to go through one of the bedrooms downstairs vs. a common area or go out the front door and around the back. The porch area was one of the best features with an incredible view! We liked Playa Flamingo as it is not nearly as crowded as Tamarindo, which is an easy drive for shopping and eating. Though, Playa Flamingo has some good restaurants as well.

Fantastic Week at Casa Flores

We loved our time at Casa Flores! At checkin and walkthrough, everything was clearly explained. The cleaning service was exceptional. The house was spacious and the bedrooms were quiet. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware for the big dinners we had. One night we had nine people over and we all fit comfortably at the table. We loved hanging out on the decks and gazing out at the spectacular views. The pool was refreshing and very clean. It was so cool having “our own” beach. Staying in this perfect place was a huge part of how much we enjoyed our week in Costa Rica!!

Great for a little relaxation

This is our 8th visit to Costa Rica and we absolutely love it. We have stayed in a different house just down the street before and love this location. It has access to a private beach with good swimming and snorkeling. The property is within walking distance to Playa Flamingo and the Marina. There are several restaurants within walking distance as well. The walk down to the private beach is a lengthy stair journey so take that into consideration if you have elderly or very young children. You will get your steps in for sure. Only real thing that we did not like is that they did not provide a key to the downstairs access to the pool area. The bedrooms have a door that leads to the pool and beach access but there was not a key provided to unlock them. But all in all a great stay in Costa Rica again.

We had a great time, loved our location and the housekeeping was great. Wish they would trim the one rain tree branch block ing the view though.

Had a lovely time but...

Great location, amazing private beach. However, VRBO listing had the house at 5000 square feet, it is not half that. And the real issue was loud construction on the neighboring home that started before 8:00 AM and lasted all day, 7 days a week!

Oasis in Playa Flamingo

We loved our stay at Casa Flores! The house was in a perfect location to Playa Flamingo. The semi private beach was perfect for swimming, reading and sunbathing. The house was clean and well stocked. We can’t wait to return!
