「The cottage was a silent peaceful spectacular and wonderous pleasure. The views will instantly soothed a sole. The cottage is cute simple but adorable. Comfortable and cozy. With views from every window stunning. At night the stars shone so bright it was mesmerizing. Day by day night by night the channel marker off the coast sounded like a mournful whale. It became a calming feature you wanted and got very use to. Now being away from it,it is really missed. The mezmerizing sound is in the past....

「We celebrated my parents 70th anniversary at Rita's. We had the entire place. This is a very large property and it was perfect for our event. Very clean and well equipped. Mike the maintenance man stopped by to ensure all was good and said to call at any time if we needed anything. The pool was amazing and was loved by all from my 8 month old great grandson to my 89 year old mom. The young adults loved all the room for lawn games and the fire pit at night. Everyone is already talking...

「Everything was excellent we had fun and enjoyed the pool. Our section was very spacious and enough room for the 4 of us. Very nice location and close drive into Sydney. Only feedback I have is there was not enough pots & pans to cook properly and adding more cooking utensils.」

「This is a very nice house and is in a great location. It was clean and easy to keep clean and had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed the ocean view. There was a garage door which provided easy access to the yard and added to our enjoyment of the outdoors and oceanfront. It was very nicely located close to a sand beach and very near the Town of Cheticamp and the Cabot Trail. John was a very accommodating host 」

「We wish we could live at Rita’s retreat all the time! Our room was nice and cozy. The backyard is so spacious and peaceful all the way down to the water. The indoor saltwater pool was icing on the cake! Mike was very accommodating, helpful and fun to talk to— I recommend Rita’s Retreat!」

「We stayed a full week here and loved every minute. The host was incredibly supportive with clear directions and check ins throughout the stay. These four separate units sit on a cliff overlooking the Gulf of St. Lawrence. There’s a well-designed trail/pea-gravel road down the 135 foot hill to Chimney Corner Beach in Mabou Bay.
