“Based on others' reviews, we had high expectations for the Albion Hotel, but these were comfortably exceeded. Rooms are modern and well-equipped ... we especially liked the his 'n hers showers ... and ours had a large (shared) terrace overlooking delightful sea views. The quality of food and choice of wine at dinner were both outstanding, followed by an excellent breakfast. Without exception, the staff were all extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly. “Lovely Garden room. Rather bijou and a particularly small bathroom. I was concerned about noise from the restaurant but it was fine (we were on 1st floor). Luxury bedsheets and duvet and decent aircon. Staff all lovely. Breakfast was fine. I had salmon and scrambled eggs on the first morning. The salmon was pretty tasteless and the eggs were dry - very disappointing and not expected from this establishment. Next morning I had smashed avocado and poached eggs which were nicer, but not……

Shops and restaurants and bars were of walkable distance, rooms had everything we needed and staff were friendly and more than helpful with any other needs. The lovely continental breakfast and fresh coffee was a real treat.”
