Located 5 minutes drive from the famous sandy beach of Calheta, in a quiet area with beautiful view on the slope of Calheta and Ocean. And only 25 minutes of Funchal is the capital city of Madeira It's backed by hills, and known for its harbor, gardens and Madeira wine cellars. The centuries-old Funchal Cathedral, which mixes Gothic and Romanesque styles, is notable for its carved wooden ceiling. Fronting the harbor is the São Tiago Fortress, built in the 1600s. It now houses the Art Museum.

Insgesamt schönes Ferienhaus, mancher Einrichtungsgegenstand könnte gelegentlich mal erneuert werden, ist aber nicht weiter schlimm. Bei Problemen und Rückfragen gab es jederzeit schnelle Rückmeldung und Abhilfe durch den Vermieter.

Magnifique Villa

La villa est située à 4 kms d'une plage de sable (idéale pour les enfants) & située à 20 minutes de voiture d'un point de départ pour différentes randonnées (25 fontaines, levada do alecrim,...) L'emplacement est idéal. Très calme, confortable, la cuisine est parfaitement équipée (comme chez soi)

Nice villa

The house is overall very nice and cozy. We really enjoyed having breakfast outside and enjoying the view, cooking together in the well-equipped kitchen or swimming in the pool. One small drawback is that the house always smelled a bit musty and there were stick stains under some beds.

Zona muito pacífica e acolhedora! Perfeito para férias em família e com todas as condições para cozinhar/lavar e disfrutar como se estivéssemos mesmo na nossa casa! Beautiful villa in Calheta

Booking was easy, prompt reply's from the owner and most helpful .The villa is stunning and has all new equipment and furniture . Lots of TV channels in English. The views are just amazing .. The villa was spotlessly clean, great wifi and constant hot water, good beds Cecilla the housekeeper was so nice and kind and was not far away .The villa is in a dead end road no passing traffic. There is a small bar at the top of the road and lots of restaurants 10 mins drive up the hill or down the hill . You can walk to a small supermarket down the hill . Migs place is recommended and you will not be disappointed. There is a bigger supermarket by the savoy hotel in calheta . Thank you very much we just loved migs place and Arco da calheta . John and Sue
