Vale dos Amores, a Home in Madeira

Vale dos Amores is a self-contained home with air conditioning (cooling and heating) in a rural setting near Calheta, for two to four guests. It has a balcony facing the sea and the surrounding fields, a covered barbecue and the Casa das Mudas arts centre right next door.

The accommodation is approximately 80 m² and consists of two bedrooms, each with a queen-size double bed (160 × 200 cm), a living room with a dining table, a kitchen and a bathroom.

There is free parking on the property.

It also includes a refrigerator and freezer, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a ceramic hob, an oven, a microwave and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, a heater, Wi-Fi, a TV with international and children's channels, among other amenities for a pleasant and relaxing stay.



📍 NEIGHBOURHOOD

The accommodation is located in a rural area 200 m from sea level and 1.5 km from the town of Calheta, where there is a sandy beach and several restaurants and cafés.

The arts center and contemporary art museum Casa das Mudas is 200 m away and there are restaurants, cafés, a bakery and a hairdresser within a few minutes' walk.

Calheta lies in the south-west of the island, the area of Madeira with the best weather conditions.

A few kilometres away there are stunning cliffs, mountains and Laurisilva forest for nature lovers and hikers.

Nearby you can enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, surfing, fishing and other nautical activities.

A car is recommended; the property has access to the main roads.

The property's entrance is shared with the owner's main house, but the accommodation is independent.

Rural area, with insects and lizards naturally present and possible noise from dogs and other domestic animals on neighbouring properties.

Weekly maintenance cleaning, including a change of bed linen and towels.

We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance covering cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent their stay.

Due to the island's location and climate, the presence of insects and small lizards is natural, and they may be attracted by food scraps. We kindly ask that you keep surfaces clean and food properly stored.

For those sensitive to mosquito bites, we recommend using repellent when getting around the island.

An online pre-check-in form will be sent to collect the identification details required by law.

In-person check-in is by prior appointment. We will wait up to 60 minutes after the scheduled time; beyond that, it may be necessary to arrange a new time.

So that we can resolve any issue promptly, we ask that you report any faults or cleaning shortcomings immediately. Reports made after check-out may no longer be verified or resolved.
