Relaxing and peaceful vacation

A Wonderful vacation

What a beautiful home and location on the island . We thoroughly enjoyed the property with the views and the pool . The area was beautiful . It took us a few days to get used to driving the steep roads however the beauty was well worth it ! We loved Madeira and hope to back soon ❤️

Fabulous view and location, perfect retreat for relaxing

I have no words to describe the view from this location, the house is very comfortable, a little attention to details after people visiting as we found shower heads broken and bathroom tub collecting too much water, I know people do not take care and it should stay pristine as it is, a great location close to the best beach on the island too Calheta beach. Beautiful landscape, beautiful sunrise, perfect retreat for those who like peaceful and nature.

Cliffside home in Prazeres

Fabulous property, great views, very peaceful. Getting to the property is a bit treacherous at night with narrow roads, but after getting used to it, it wasn't so bad. Would be nice to be able to open the windows in the evenings, because the downstairs rooms get warm, but we had issues with bugs getting in. Otherwise, loved our stay!

Terrific place to get away from it all.

We were extremely pleased with our stay. The property very much resembled the photos, and my biggest complaint was it was so nice laying by the pool, it was hard to leave to go see the rest of the island. Property manager Joana was very accommodating and hit the perfect mix of making sure we had everything we needed without needing to bother us throughout our stay. Would highly recommend this spot to family and friends (and strangers on the internet or anyone who will listen to me really). We opted for the heated option because one of us (I won’t say who) is a baby in cold water and it was perfect. One minor note, and I don’t consider it a negative but it should be said, if you’re driving a manual vehicle, be comfortable with hills and tight turns!

Perfect villa with perfect views

This place was terrific! There were 4 of us and it allowed us enough space for privacy and great common areas for times together. The views are amazing from this house! We had the pool heated but sadly it still wasn’t warm enough for the cold spell that came through. The villa is located in a sleepy village away from Funchal noise and congestion. Everything you need is 5 mins away. Easy drive to Funchal when you want to venture in. Joana was super prompt and was attentive to all our needs. Highly recommend this villa for anyone wanting comfort, space, cleanliness, and fantastic views!

Huis met prachtig uitzicht

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad. Het uitzicht vanaf het terras en vanuit de keuken/serre is fantastisch. Dus ook als het fris wordt, kun je binnen genieten van de blik op de oceaan en de wolkenluchten. De kamers waren goed in orde. We moesten even wennen dat we buitenom naar onze slaapkamer moesten. Maar met de temperatuur op Madeira en het schone terras was dat snel gebeurd. Het is er heerlijk stil, het zwembad lekker warm en de het huis staat op een goede plek als uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te bekijken.

Ferienhaus mit tollem Blick aber einigen Mängeln

Das Positive vorweg: das Haus hat einen großartigen Ausblick, einen schönen Pool und eine Küche mit Panoramafenstern, in der man fast glauben könnte, man sässe im Freien. So gesehen bilden die Fotos die Realität ab. Es war sauber und einmal kam sogar der Reinigungsservice inkl. Bettwäsche und Handtuchwechsel. Nun zu den Mängeln: es war etwas schwierig ins Haus zu gelangen, da kein Strom da war. Wir mussten über eine Mauer klettern um uns Zugang zum Haus zu verschaffen und um die Sicherung wieder aktivieren zu können. Der Elektriker kam dann am nächsten Tag und hat das Problem behoben. Die Zimmer im oberen rochen sehr intensiv nach Chemikalien. Den in den vorherigen Rezessionen erwähnten etwas maroden Charakter des Hauses können wir bestätigen. Eine Jalousie war defekt und die Halterung der Handbrause war kaputt, die Liegestühle am Pool waren verschmutzt. Trotzdem: Wäre nicht die eklatante Geruchsbelästigung gewesen, hätten wir den Urlaub trotz der vorhandenen Mängel uneingeschränkt genießen können.

Ein tolles Haus in traumhafter Lage

Das Haus ist toll, sehr gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Zu jedem Schlafzimmer gibt es ein eigenes Bad/WC plus eine super Warmwasserdusche im Pool-Bereich. Der Pool ist groß genug für einige Schwimmzüge und bietet eine tolle Aussicht auf den Atlantik. Wir haben die Pool-Heizung dazu gebucht, dadurch war auch im Oktober die Temperatur super angenehm. Die Lage des Hauses ist traumhaft, für Blick einfach super. Gut geeignet für Ausflüge ins Umland, zum Wandern, Whale Watching und anderem. Ein Auto ist fast ein Muss, aber das lohnt sich auf Madeira meiner Meinung nach immer. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Sehr bequeme Betten, ausreichend Handtücher und auch in der Küche fehlt es an nichts. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Traumhafte Lage mit morbidem Charm

Das Haus hat eine traumhafte Lage mit traumhaften Aussichten. Wer des Auto Fahrens nicht so ganz mächtig ist erreicht das Haus aber nur schwerlich. Äußerst enge und steile Zufahrt. Die Einrichtung ist allerdings 70er Jahre Style. Morbider Charme mit Gebrauchsspuren. Winzige Badezimmer und teilweise sehr enge Zimmertüren. Die beiden oberen Zimmer sind bei schlechtem Wetter nur mit Regencape zu erreichen. Nichts für Gäste die nicht gut zu Fuss sind.

Stunning views!

We have just returned from a wonderful 2 week holiday in Madeira. The property was lovely but does need some cosmetic work doing to it (someone did come to look at one of the issues whilst we were there). The views from the property are amazing. There is some building work taking place in the valley below but this didn't really bother us. We did like to have the bedroom door open to let the breeze blown through but we did get a few little visitors so be warned. Joana was very helpful and responded to our queries quickly. I would highly recommend a Jeep tour with a company called Miguel is Here, his knowledge of the island was excellent and this was one of the highlights of our trip.

Wij hadden een fijne week met onze 3 kinderen van 16,13 en 11. Zij vonden het leuk om boven echt hun eigen plek te hebben. Voorzieningen waren goed in orde. De woning vraagt het en der wel wat onderhoud. Het uitzicht was iedere dag weer genieten!

Ein sehr schönes Haus in einer tollen Lage. Im Januar wurde der Pool wirklich auf 28 Grad geheizt. Vielen Dank an Joana für den perfekten Service. Alleine der Blick von Küche und Terrasse war die Reise wert. Allerdings wie schon von anderen erklärt Auto ist ein MUSS !!

Da stimmt alles! Nope - there is nothing wrong

Die Lage - ein bisschen ab vom Schuss aber mit Mietwagen ist das nebensächlich - die Aussicht grandios! Im Tal ist ein Steinbruch - der hört man - uns hat es nicht gestört. Das Haus ideal für Erwachsene - die oberen 2 Schlafzimmer (jedes mit eigenem Bad) und die obere große Terrasse ist über eine Außentreppe erschlossen. Das heißt, man kann sich auch aus dem Weg gehen. für Familien mit Kleinkindern dürfte die räumliche Trennung schwierig sein. Die Ausstattung - es ist alles da was man braucht und sogr mehr (wir haben das Bügelbrett nicht genutzt). Geschitt, Pfannen, Töpfe ... alles neuwertig und appetitlich (da sieht man schon ganz anderes). Handtücher mehrt als genug und ebenso wie die Bettwäsche in guter Qualität. Nach einer Woche gibt es eine Hausreinigung und frische Wäsche - sehr angenehm. Das Detail macht den Unterschied! Die Bilder im Inserat entsprechen der Realität - da ist nichts geschönt oder in Scene gesetzt. Das Management - Joana - freundlich und kompetent - sehr professionell. Toller Jahreswechsel

wir waren hier zum Jahreswechsel für eine Woche mit 5 Personen. Das Haus bietet alles was man für einen tollen Urlaub braucht. 3 Schlafzimmer mit separaten Eingang, so ist man auch ein wenig unabhängig, wenn man es möchte. Dazu ein Wohnzimmer mit PayTV (englisch) und eine große Küche mit Spülmaschine. Es gibt zusätzlich aussen einen kleinen Raum mit Waschmachine, Bügelbrett etc. Das Highlight ist der große Pool, welcher beheizt ist ,it frt grandiosen Aussicht. Es werden zwar keine 28 Grad, aber das war bei 16 Grad Aussentemperatur auch schwierig. Es empfiehlt sich den Pool abends abzudecken, so ist das Wasser am Morgen deutlich wärmer. Wir haben den Aussenkamin als Grill genutzt und dafür Holzkohle genommen. Da es eine Aussenbeleuchtung gibt, hat alles auch wunderbar geklappt. Der CheckIn lief komplett ohne direkten Kontakt. Es gibt einen Safe vor der Tür mit Code. Dieser wird von der immer freundlichen Betreuung kurz vorher mitgeteilt. Alles in allen ein schöner Urlaub mit professioneller Unterstützung und Betreung der Agentur vor Ort. Großes Dank an Joana.

Tolle Villa mit atemberaubenden Blick

Das Haus ist wunderschön und gut ausgestattet. Highlight ist auf jeden Fall der Pool. Uns hat etwas gestört, dass es so wenig Schatten gab (insgesamt ein Sonnenschirm, bei sechs Personen einfach zu wenig), hier wäre ein Markise super. Das ist aber Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Probleme die wir hatten, wurden sehr schnell und unkompliziert gelöst.

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus für die ganze Familie

Super Ausblick auf den Ozean vom Poolbereich aussen und aus riesigen Panorama-Glasschiebetüren der Küche. 3 sehr schöne unabhängige Schlafräume mit Bädern. Nur mit Mietauto zu erreichen, da etwas abgelegen aber ideal zum Wandern und Ausflüge überall auf der Insel. Die Ausstattung des Objektes ist mehr als üppig, alles da und gut gepflegt. Beheizter Pool kostet extra ,aber unbedingt zu empfehlen. Die nette Kontaktperson vor Ort ist sehr professionell und immer erreichbar. Wir waren jetzt zweimal mit Familie ( 4/ 5 Personen) da und waren immer alle begeistert .
