"Posted 7/25/2026. Stayed just one night at the Indigo but wish I could have stayed longer. Would definitely stay again if I lived in Britain. The hotel was only five minutes walking time from the train station and was near all the main attractions. The room was fabulous and it also had air conditioning and a small refrigerator. The hotel also had a bar which was nice! The room was very spacious, well decorated, and well maintained. I've stayed in over 1000 hotels in my lifetime and this was very nice!"

"The room was comfortable, large, and clean. It has air conditioning which was essential for us as there was a heat wave. Large bathroom. Outlets at bedside. Nice amenities. Coffee/Tea/water/cookies in room. There is a small fridge but it wasn’t very cool. Lovely view. Friendly staff. Nice lounge and bar. The restaurant was being renewed so food options weren’t great. But future options should be wonderful as a Gordon Ramsey restaurant is in process. Hotel is central to everything and area is extremely walkable. Would stay again and recommend!"

"We stayed here leading up to our wedding and it was a 10/10 stay. They gave us complimentary sparkling wine, flowers, and a hand illustrated congratulations card! Hotel feels newly renovated but still has classic countryside boutique flare. Family room was very spacious for us. Wonderful, super friendly staff! Emberwood was an excellent restaurant directly tied into the hotel. Location is very central but things are still quiet which is great. Will surely stay again if we are ever in town. Thank you Alex and Carly for making it memorable!"

"The hotel was beautiful, clean and well equipped. It was the perfect hotel with great food, close to everything while being peaceful at the same time. I am super picky and our room was gorgeous and spacious. I loved that it was within walking distance to the whole city and close to the train station, Parade Park, the Abbey, Roman Bath, and Pump Room/Assembly Hall. The air conditioning was wonderful too during this rare heat wave. We will be back!"
