“Wanted to spend a weekend somewhere we'd never been. The apartment we stayed in offered the ability to be able to fix our own meals, sleep in comfort and be walking distance from a multi-flavor soft ice cream shop. We were from 2 hours away. Visited the Benezette Elk Center as well as some of the Elk viewing areas (though we didn't expect to see any, as it was the wrong time of day and season). We also took a short hike. The drive took close to an hour from the Hilltop Hideaway. Although……

“Beautifully decorated, so comfortable, kitchen great. Able to enjoy the beautiful grounds, pond, stream, exploring for wildlife. Stream was available for fishing, saw an eagle fly over and a 6-point buck run across stream to mention a few. Mountain view, deck great for am coffee and evening beverages!”

“This is what I call getting away. My family had a great week from early morning hot tub soaks to family feuds over playing Uno and Monopoly! We only got one clear night in the star gazing field and the moon was a bit to bright but it was still beautiful. The property is clean and well stocked with just about everything you could need! We will definitely be back!”
