"The Hotel Windsor represents the stately luxury of old Melbourne, but it’s at the center of modern Melbourne still. We rented a suite, and it was the most luxurious hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Breakfast was fabulous – custom cooked from a menu of great options. The staff were excellent. As we were waiting for our taxi, the porter noticed we were a bit hot and brought us each a bottle of water. "

"I've always wanted to stay at the Stamford Plaza since I started working around the area in the early 2000s. It did not disappoint. A little old style Melbourne. It reminded me of hotels we've stayed at in New York and San Francisco. The king suite was well appointed and room service was pretty good. "
