“Erica and the Ode were awesome. Little Portugal was a super organic and safe place to hangout. Lots of cool coffee and places to eat. The Ode was accommodating and helpful with all our needs. We loved the room and all its amenities. We’ll be coming back.”

“The room was laid out practically with not a lot of space to sit or put things away. There was no cable tv but that wasn’t a problem since we rarely watch tv when in Toronto. Parking was located across the street via laneway under the grocery store so it was semi secure (better than being on the street) but not worry free. The main issue is that our room faced the south side (Queen street) so we could hear all the traffic including the streetcars. All that said, the room had a rustic charm……

“The room was spacious with a separate lounging area with a deep seated couch and tv. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel itself seemed to be on the tail end of a renovation with visible signs of construction material (pieces of trim were missing, some surfaces needed to be clad,…). That said, it did not take away from the experience. Maybe I couldn’t figure it out, but when I turned on the light in the lounging area, it also turned on the light on the bedroom area. Don’t know if……

“房間的門鎖是壞的，無法上鎖，就算更換了另外一個房間，門鎖仍然是壞的，他們兩次安排技術人員前來修理兩個房間的門鎖，說是「結構性問題」無法修理。幸好我們有經驗的旅客，我們能夠自行在房門安裝警報器，否則房間不能上鎖如何能夠安心睡覺呢？酒店的接待員，職員，全部十分友善，點讚。可是酒店本身有「結構性問題」待解決。The lock on the room was out of order and could not be locked. Even if another room was replaced, the door lock was still cannot be locked. They arranged two technicians to come and repair the door locks of the two rooms. They said that the locks have "structural problem" which cannot be repaired. Fortunately, we are experienced travelers. We……

“Considering the room price, the breakfast was below average. Towels and the toilet were not clean. Staff was friendly. It’s very nice that you can do simple cooking in the room.”

“Super small rooms. No window. Very damp sheets felt wet. Not worth the price compared to what you get elsewhere for that same price.”
