「We’ve used Hotels.com for years and have always had good experiences — until now. This particular booking was deeply disappointing. The apartment was nothing like the listing described, and certainly not worthy of the 5-star rating shown on the site. It was damp, smelled musty, and there were visible signs of moisture damage — possibly even mold. We tried to contact both the property and Hotels.com during the stay. 「The property was really clean and a lovely place to stay. I just had a few issues personally which was for the lift was very tiny and as I was alone with a baby in the 3rd floor it was hard as I had to fold pram up and down and put it in the lift alone then walk up and down stairs with the baby which was very stressful if you are alone. The only problem I had with the apartment was the shower wasn’t working very well and there was no plug to run a bath but other than that it was beautiful .」

「Good for young party goers ONLY. Above an extremely loud restaurant for 300 people with loud music, techno DJ, live performers, inebriated guests until 2 am. Building front entrance always propped open by staff or random diners (all men) who would be sitting on the staircase smoking. Did not feel safe as a woman walking up 3 flights to my apartment. Nice location and new appliances. Clean enough but not thoroughly, corners not wiped, shower with mold. Bed comfortable. No couch just second bed.」
