Great property

We were very comfortable during our 7 day stay on the property. The location is fantastic, just a few steps to the beach and/downtown beautiful Cannon Beach. The house was very comfortable and we enjoyed the use of the deck and backyard on sunny days.

Close to beach and town

The house is in a wonderful neighborhood and great location, 2 blocks to the beach and town. We enjoyed walking to Sleepy Monk coffee in the mornings, dinner and sunset on the beach at night:) The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. We can't wait for our next visit to Cannon Beach and the area!

Christmas Vacation

Terrific location. Well equipped with everything we needed . Very little in the way of staples for cooking - needed salt. Also would have really appreciated some baggies. Very small TV. Good DVD, books games and puzzle selection..Clean and comfortable. BiGreat movie

Fabulous location! We loved being close to the beach and town. We hardly used the car the whole time we were there. The house itself was clean but could use some TLC. It was plenty roomy for our family of 3 but a little tight when we had 2 more adults join us for the long weekend. Wifi worked great for school and work.

Cannon Beach House

My family and I had a lovely time staying at La Bella Vita. It was very close to town and only took us 5 mins to walk to the Pig and Pancake for breakfast! It fit the 5 of us perfectly and the kitchen was well stocked with anything you need to make meals at home. The backyard is beautiful, if the weather were nicer we would have fully taken advantage of barbecuing out there.

Spring break

Our family of four had a great time! Access to the beach was a three minute walk, close to town, and the house was a nice size. We will most definitely try to return if it is available. The only down sides were the backyard. It could use a bit of sprucing up. Adding table and chairs out there would be great. The bathroom is a tad small, but not a deal breaker. Thank you for providing a nice place to stay.

Cozy Stay - Bring TP

This cozy place was just the right size for four adults and two dogs. We enjoyed being able to cook our meals in the kitchen, and hanging out in the spacious loving room. The kitchen is well equipped to cook almost any meal. There were also plenty of towels (even dog towels!) and laundry. Since it was rainy and windy we didn't have a chance to enjoy the big deck, grill, or back yard, but the outdoor shower was handy for washing off muddy paws before coming inside. Would have been a perfect 5 star stay for us except several small things: we were only provided 1 roll of toilet paper for 4 people, 1 week. We had to promptly go out and get more. It seems unusual given my stays at other rentals, and how inexpensive it is to provide. There was also only one outlet in the smaller bedroom, so phones had to be charged in another room overnight. Several other outlets in the house were also frustratingly loose or not always working. We were also told the first batch of firewood is provided, but we couldn't find any and we had to go out and buy that as well. There was also just 1 extra trash bag which got a little awkward towards the end of the stay.

could be great with a few fixes!

this little house could be a gem, but it most definitely needs some love. the location is perfect, the best in cannon beach. the space is great for one or two people. all the amenities one could ever need are there. the bedding was clean and comfortable and plentiful! there were some pretty major issues however. there is a major gnat problem when it warms up. I could not even read in the evening because of all the gnats attracted to the light. I know this has been a previous problem because there was a gnat trap under the sink. I also had ants on the last two days, bothe in the kitchen and in the bathroom. one side of the sliding glass doors in the master bedroom is blocked out with some paint or something for some reason, blocking a great portion of the beautiful outdoor view. the biggest problem was a musty, moldy smell because there was a large piece of sheetrock missing from behind the dryer, along with missing tile. it looked as though someone started a job and never fixed it. the heating units are exposed there also and someone had tried to put up a very unsightly divider to block it, which did not work, and it kept falling, so I finally just removed it altogether. that being said, with a few touches, it would be perfect! management was absolutely great in their responsiveness to any issues, including getting a saints football game on for me! I will most likely stay there again once I have been assured that these items have been corrected.

Beach retreaat

The comfy house, quiet neighborhood. Large windows and good lights, room enough to spread out, with the beach and town close by. This was a fine location for a week long quilting retreat. The on,y drawback was that the weather was so beautiful it was hard to spend time indoors working on my projects. I look forward to doing this again.

Great getaway

I used the house for a personal quilt retreat. There was plenty of work space. The house was bright with great light. The neighborhood was very quiet. The beach was an easy walk to the west, there was a great quilt shop a few blocks south and great food and shopping to the north. All this was in walking distance. And in spite of the gorgeous sunny weather I actually got a lot of work done . I am looking forward to a repeat visit.
