disappointment an Thanksgiving vacation
we arrived with no issues. place was not as it appeared or described. dirty washcloth in the shower. fence builders outside of our window. not a quiet area. we moved out after one night and stayed with friends. last year (september)we had a vacation in sisters, oregon. I selected a particular house that I knew has large windows to let the light in. twenty minutes before we arrived I got a text that the place ( I had chosen and was confirmed) was not available. we were given another house to stay at and it was a huge disappointment. thanks anyway, The Blodgetts

You get what you pay for
Economical. Clean. Great location. HOWEVER - absolutely terrible communication with management. Gave us the wrong door code and didn’t respond to us for 8 hours. No effort was made to fix the problem - we found a solution on our own.Came home one afternoon to find two men fixing something inside the cabin without giving us notification beforehand. Unprofessional and disconcerting.

Excellent except for wifi issues
We had a great stay. The only issue was the wifi being unreliable. It went out twice during our stay and it took hours to get it turned back on. I understand things happen, but when I called for assistance, I was sent to a call center in Salem, rather than to the local manager. Once I got local help, the fix was quick.

Very small place
We knew it was small but it’s small. Not ideal for young children as the one bathroom is in the bedroom. The shower water pressure was beyond awful.

Great experience
We had a nice stay. We were just here overnight but everything was clean and ready for us. The whole process was pretty easy and we booked last minute. I did want to let you know that when I was putting back the shower sprayer a piece came off. I left it on a shelf in the bathroom.

Nice spot for dog owners
We got the key as described in the instructions. Parking was ok, but staff took up 3 spaces with 2 cars, not possible to park on the property on the second day. The location is good, near the ocean, restaurants, shops and Ecola state park. There are a full set of dishes and fridge if you want to maybe your own meals. Several ways to heat the cottage so warm and comfortable. Overall nice place to stay.

We still have back/ neck pain
Only thing good about this place is the location. Bathroom reminded us of a small RV size room. Queen Bed is squeaky and extremely uncomfortable. I slept on the day bed after the first night as the noise from either one of us moving woke the other. The day bed is all broken in and I needed to sleep in fetal position to protect my spine. The refrigerator is a Jr. size so forget about a Costco trip and the rusty stove was unlevel with only 1/2 of the four burners working. Running the gas fireplace for heat triggered the CO monitor so we needed to keep a window open as there is extremely poor ventilation. It is Winter and freezing. I would put this room @ the level of a 1960's Motel....if the saying Lipstick on a Pig makes sense to you - avoid staying here. This review was written two days after we left the property as I was going to write during anger but decided to hold off and list facts. Should have stayed in Seaside for less money and a bigger, better room.

Nice plan to land to surf and be in the city center at Cannon Beach. Great access a few blocks west for the beach.

Property was clean forthwith most part very small, amenities not as described, fire place not working stand up heaters trip the brakers, beds not confertable lumpy, and saggy , internet sporadic.

Cute Cottage
We enjoy our stay with our fur babies. It was darker than the pictures online. Overall, it was a great weekend getaway. It was close to the beach and downtown main street. The cottage had a stains on the carpet and there was a sign not to wear our shoes, but with out shoes your feet got really dirty. Bring your slippers for walking around the cottage. The bathroom had mold on the tile grout, which some bleach can get out, overall it was a nice stay. We can't wait to come back.

Exactly what we needed for our stay
Refrigerator isn’t level. But the oven is adorable and works great. Huge sink. The black chair is not to be sat on. But the little bed in the living room is very comfy for watching movies and the bed in the bedrooms is surprisingly comfortable! . Overall it’s perfect.

Perfect Weekend
We loved this cozy little cottage and enjoyed use of the small kitchen space as well as the easy walk to the beach near Haystack Rock. We didn't check out the outdoor space really since we were busy being out and about during the day and it was chilly at night but would definitely recommend for a weekend getaway.

Great location!
Really nice little spot right next to the beach. I wish the kitchen was a tad bigger since we did most of our eating at our rental, but it was good enough for two people. The location is the best part of this place. Two blocks from the beach - who could ask for more? Super quiet neighborhood and away enough from the downtown area to not feel very crowded. We would def stay here again!

Perfect little weekend bungalow.
Quaint, clean and comfortable. This a small residence but with the beach literally a block away we just used it to sleep. Close proximity with neighbors have us an opportunity to visit with many people too.

Perfect little getaway spot
We really enjoyed the cute setup of cottages and inside was exactly like the pictures. Very organized and clean. Only thing is I wished our cottage has AC. It did get a little warm but it was manageable with the fan provided. Overall I would book here again!

Time was good, but a little uncomfortable
Check in process was amazingly simple. However, it was a little smelly in there, the pullout bed was difficult to sit on as a couch and wish it would have rather been a couch.... bed caused for some serious back aches and leg cramps when getting up in the am. If looking for a place to crash, this is it. If looking for a comfortable place to relax after a long day, this is not it. Def overpriced for what it was but happy we still made the trek out. Probably would rather get a hotel next time.

Cannon Beach Cottage
This was the perfect cottage for me! The location to walk to the beach and shops worked great. The cottage is on a quiet street just off the main street in a residential area. The cottage was very clean. I will stay here again!

Perfect for a weekend
Perfect for a weekend trip for two and your best friend! Close to the beach and a walk from the town. Has dog bowls and bags in case you forgot and is very quiet. You can hear the ocean from the cabin which is very nice and the shower has perfect temp! Very clean when we got there. Tvs a bit small but let’s face it none of us are there for the tv :)

Quick getaway
The place is darling and very functional. A place to store bags or clothing in the bedroom would be useful (bedside tables /w storage?) or even a few hooks in the bedroom would help. Otherwise it's lovely. The bedding and pillows were very dusty (especially on the day bed) and did trigger asthma for both of us. Otherwise we loved the place and it's convenience. We would stay again but would ask for a more thorough airing/cleaning of linens

This home will very soon be deep cleaned, and all linens will be refreshed along with getting brand new pillows. We've added a small dresser in the living room for additional guest storage. Cozy & Clean
This is our third stay at Hidden Villas Cottages and by far the best! So glad they got new mattresses! This Cottage is super comfortable, very clean, and only 1.5 blocks to beach access. The local manager is very responsive and professional as well. We left an item behind and he followed through with helping find it and assure us it would e shipped to us ASAP. We will always stay here when we can get out to Cannon Beach due to the always affordable prices of these cottages, cleanliness, and perfect location! Thank you again for a wonderful stay!!! FYI, there is a hairdryer at this property on the wall in the bathroom...we were told there wasn’t, which is totally fine, simple mis-communication...just wanted to let people know. Thanks again! Love these cottages!

An Amazing Stay!
My family and I rented half the cottages for some milestone birthdays. We were there a week. The property was the perfect venue for the occasion. Angela, the senior housekeeper was there every day, and very attentive to our needs. The other staff was immediate to any requests as well. We booked early. Other guests had commented availability was limited at the times they booked. I highly recommend this property for any occasion, and plan in advance for any extended stays.

I liked this cabin for several reasons. 1) Close to the beach. 2) No crowd around the area. 3) Able to grill all your meals. 4) Very quiet. 5) Close to Mo's.
