「We chose the hotel for it's convenient location in the city of Orotina , where we were visiting relatives . The staff was good , perhaps a little inattentive on check out. The reception office was closed and I had to look around for someone to return my key. Be advice there's is a very noisy soccer academy right next door . We were alocated on room 11 , close to the academy . It can be an issue if you are trying to rest early evening .」

「Everyone was so helpful. They let us write to the place we were staying. It was a little difficult to find the office when you see the physical sign walk up the path and you’ll see it right there. 「We stayed at the Marala Hotel for the last two nights of our Costa Rica vacation, and our only regret is that we didn’t book a longer stay. 「Too many insects in the rooms due poor construction and gaps in windows and doors. Pool water not clean. Beach and waves are outstanding - however this is not a place for young children or weaker swimmers to enter the ocean. There is a very steep beach creating a powerful backwash after each wave. Paradise for surfers though. The waves just don't want to stop breaking and are excellent to surf.」
