Great location, neglected accommodation

It's a great house in a very quiet street with good public transport connections. The city center is also within walking distance, a 20-25 minute walk.Unfortunately the whole house was not cleaned. The floors were full of crumbs and hair, the walls in the kitchen and bathroom were smeared, the dining table was sticky. It was very disgusting. Luckily there was a vacuum cleaner in the apartment so we were able to do some cleaning ourselves. Actually, the apartment was well furnished and at first glance everything looks very nice. At second glance it turns out to be a dingy looking accommodation. The mattresses were completely worn out and when you lay down on them all the springs jumped noisily towards you. there were fat cobwebs on the ceilings and walls. It's a total shame that we found the house in this dirty and run-down state, as it would have been really lovely and in a perfect, quiet location.
