Beautiful & Quirky

This home is quirky and beautiful. It has 4 spacious and nicely appointed bedrooms. The beds were comfortable. I rented this home because of the backyard and the view. It lived up to the photos. I stayed at this home during the weekend where an epic storm knocked out the power on the Monterrey peninsula and most of the Carmel Valley. Because we didn’t have power, there was of course no internet, but unexpectedly there was no running water. What made it not a bad situation, was how awesome the property manager was. He was so attentive. He did everything he could to find us another house in the region, but also learned that it didn’t have power either. The property manager had water and extra flash lights delivered shortly after I let him know what happened. It was a crazy situation, but I couldn’t have thought about a better place to be glamping. The property manager had lots of fire wood stocked upon our arrival, so we used the awesome fireplace to provide light and we sat in the living room just admiring the view and the stars when the clouds blew away. The windows give great lighting. Every room has a little outdoor space. The courtyard in the middle was super cool for our dog and it’s beautiful. My only recommendation for the house is to update the cookware in the kitchen. There were lots of dishes, silverware, and mugs, but the pots and pans and serverware situation could use a little help. Even with that, I would totally rent this property again.

Magnificent

The villa is as beautiful as the photos on the website. The architectural design is wonderful. And I love its rugged elegance! I would return in a heartbeat!
