The village of Hutton Roof is in South Cumbria, between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. The village hosts events including a Fell Race and Country Fair. Hutton Roof Crags Nature Reserve is nearby and is home to a variety of butterflies, birds and plant life. The market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, with its architecture and Devil's Bridge is within reach and offers a variety of shops and a selection of pubs and restaurants. Kendal, with its cobbled streets, art gallery and museum is eleven miles away, whilst the villages of Arnside, Sedbergh, Settle and the picturesque Lune Valley are all within easy touring distance. An ideal base for exploring this lovely region.
