Wonderful week in Catania at Casa Provenza rooms . Antonella and Alex were the perfect hosts - friendly and so helpful . Breakfast on the terrace was a delight . The room was comfortable and the shower was excellent . The property was convenient for the tourist office , bus station and tour departures . Antonella and Alex were great thoughtful hosts. Great location for breakfast on the terrace and Antonella really helpful to solve some problems I had. Highly recommended location for visiting Catania.

Love, love, love this place!

Amazing rooms in the heart of Catania. The owners, Antonella and Alex, can't do enough to ensure a very high level of comfort and service. Amazing breakfast served on the beautiful terrace. This was my second visit and I will definitely return again.

The property was extremely central and convenient for all the places of interest. The room was spotlessly clean and the hosts, Alex and Antonella, could not have been more helpful. The room had a lovely balcony with a table and chairs with a view of the cathedral dome to the left and Mt. Etna to the right.

Great room in the heart of Catania.

We stayed for four nights with Antonella and Alex in a very appointed room with shared balcony. Antonella served a very nice breakfast each morning on the balcony. She and Alex gave us lots of good information about what to do and see in Catania. We enjoyed our stay in every way.

Wonderful stay!

The guests are basically treated like royals, and the breakfast is worthy of a five star hotel. Everything is in walking distance, and the neighborhood felt safe. I would have given an 11 if I could.

Fantastic place in the Old part of Catania

Good location in the Old part of town near every thing. Nice room and helpfull host couple. Great breakfast, servede on the terrasse, on the time you prefere, in the morning. There is a fantastic sandy beach close by - only a short taxi ride. We will be back.

Very clean rooms in the middle of historical cente

Very clean room and bathroom, host was extremely friendly and it was a pleasure to stay there. The rooms are right next to duomo with all the attractions and historical buildings around. Good public transportation near by, lots of restaurants and cafes - will recommend to friends and family, when come back, will book again! 5 stars - or a 10 of 10 point

We loved our stay. Alex and Antonella were both friendly and welcoming - they clearly care about their guests! The room was clean and bright and it was lovely having access right onto the terrace. It was also great to have a selection of pillows as I like firm and the hubby prefers soft and we were both happy. A lovely place to stay and very close to the cathedral and square. Thank you!

This was our first B&B style accommodation so we were a little apprehensive but the reviews were awesome and whey were RIGHT ON. Antonella and Alex made you feel like you had known them for years. Room was immaculate. Antonella's home cooked breakfast was the best. Location was a couple of blocks from the main city square with lot of great restaurants to chose from. Love love love this place!!! I hope to visit Sicily again and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else! The couple who runs it are very proficient in English, and literally aim to cater to all their guests needs before they are even asked. Internet was the best I have had in my two weeks on the island, and definitely sufficient for all uses and applications. ❤️❤️❤️

Brilliant.antonella was so good. In the city centre so can be a little noisy. Suited me perfect as i wear hearing aids so when they are out can't hear a thing though my wife can.

Antonella and Alex were so friendly and helpful! They accommodated my late arrival due to Catania airport being closed and answered any questions with kindness and depth. The room was lovely, very clean and a comfortable bed. It was ridiculously hot when I was there so I didn’t use the terrace but the view is lovely (and the air conditioning in the room delightful!). It was a short easy walk to all the sites so very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

Casa Provenza Rooms is a hidden jewel as a small property with only 5 rooms. I finally picked in my search for the previous reviews and its location right in the center of Catania, where you can stroll and walk to reach anywhere of interests within 30 min. The owner Antonella took great care of my stay with heart and offered many local and regional tourism advice. It is quiet and secure, just like a back alley place with 2 min to the main piazza nearby. It is 5 min walk to the Piazza Paolo Borsellino bus station if you do any excursion trips. I do plan to return to Catania in future and continue to explore other cities that I did not have time to do, but hopefully I can still book this property.

Best stay of my three weeks traveling Italy.

I couldn’t have asked for better hosts (Antonella and Alex) and room. I felt at home. The location was perfect. 7 min walk to the main bus station. The room was immaculate and comfortable. Great bathroom. The mattress and pillows gave me great sleeps. The hosts anticipate your every need and become familiar with your routine. I decided to extend my stay for a few more nights and make Catania my base because I was so comfortable and happy there. Antonella, was so lovely to chat with every morning over breakfast in my outdoor nook. Breakfast options were plenty. I will miss this place. Hope to be back again and stay at Provenza again. I will miss Antonella and Alex.

An oasis filled with kind was

An oasis in the middle of a crazy jungle. If we could put more stars we would. We have never seen such a level of dedication and support like the one received by Antonella and Alex. When I read the reviews I thought it was perhaps because the other person connected with them and it felt not genuine but I must admit it is as they say in the reviews. They will treat you like family, or long time friends who show genuine happiness to treat you as their dear guest. The room we got was impecable and the bed as good as any 5 star hotel bed. The pillows were also comfortable. The room has access to a super lovely balcony with a view to a church, where you will get your breakfast served right outside your door. It felt like royal treatment. I forgot my shoes and little pillow and Antonella went to the piazza to deliver it to us, just so that we wouldn’t need to stress to go to the airport. If you happen to be in Catania and want to be treated with care, search no more. Parking is a big problem all over Catania. We parked at Piazza Borselino which is 5 min walk from the B&B. Beware of vandals, they are all around parking places and broke our car window.
