“Had a lovely time here with Lisa and Chris. Very nice owners, accommodating and knowledgeable. Fresh continental breakfast every morning, set us up for the day along with use of a coffee machine. The location is quiet and air conditioning in rooms (which was very much needed) Short walk into the centre (5/10mins) or a nice stroll to the castle (25/40mins pace dependant). Train station roughly 15mins with easy links to Toulouse (40/50mins) or Narbonne (30mins) Plenty of places to eat and drink……

“We only stayed for one night before a morning flight from Carcassonne but wish we could have stayed longer! Our hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable without being intrusive. The house looks like something from the pages of a posh interior design magazine. We had a balcony to enjoy a glass of wine. Restaurants, supermarkets and the rail station are all a few minutes walk. And our host's baking skills made breakfast an absolute treat - you'll notice the delicious smells wafting……

“Close to center of town and also to the castle. Both a short walk, parking can be challenging so leave your car and just walk from your stay. Breakfast included, and host Catherine was super helpful with our heavy luggage.”

“J'ai adoré cette chambre d'hôtes! La cadre est sublime avec la vue sur le grand jardin, la rivière au fond, la glycine en fleurs au-dessus de la porte d'entrée. Excellent endroit pour l'observation des oiseaux. Chambre très grande et confortable, salle de bain très jolie, fonctionnelle et propre. Hôtes très sympathiques. À savoir que le parking n'est pas pour une voiture qui elle a été garée un peu plus loin au parking public. Centre-ville de Castres très proche à pied. Petit déjeuner excellent……

“We thoroughly enjoyed are stay! The pool and AC were a welcome relief from the heat. The hosts were excellent and we loved hearing about the work they’ve done to the house and the history of the delicious cassoulet they served up in the evening. I wish we’d stayed for longer.”

“Beware: This is a ghost hotel with absentee owner/staff. Unresponsive to email, and phone calls. Very limited check in availability. No air conditioning or ceiling fans. And an inflexible cancellation period - 7 days!!”

“Une parenthèse enchantée Il est des adresses que l'on découvre et que l'on voudrait garder pour soi, tant elles semblent taillées sur mesure pour le repos de l'âme. Cette chambre d'hôte en fait indéniablement partie. Dès l'arrivée, l'accueil donne le ton : généreux, chaleureux, sans la moindre affectation. La maîtresse de maison reçoit ses hôtes comme on reçoit des amis de longue date, avec une attention qui ne se dément jamais. Le cadre, lui, tient toutes ses promesses : bucolique à souhait,……
