"got an email saying checkin was at 3pm, showed up and our unit was still being cleaned. couldn’t check in until closer to 4pm. we would have done something else if we were notified our room wasn’t ready. it didn’t seem very clean, there were some stains on the comforters and face cloths. i received an email with the invoice from the property but was charged something different from hotels.com. "

"Well… if you’re lookin’ for a true “backwoods survival meets glamping” experience—this might be your place 😅 Bathroom? Oh ya, that’s a little nighttime adventure down a pitch-black trail (solar lights optional apparently). Nothing gets the heart rate up quite like punching in a code while wondering if the coyotes are clockin’ in for their shift too. The dome windows were so dirty we couldn’t even enjoy the “deer at your doorstep” moment—which was kinda the whole point. Never saw an owner, trails were more of a guessing game, and parking’s a hike away… so pack like you mean it. All in all, felt less like luxury glamping and more like camping with a fancy roof. Wouldn’t recommend… unless you’re trainin’ for Survivor: Upper Peninsula edition."

"This log cabin was truly luxurious. Well appointed, comfortable, exceptionally clean. We enjoyed having a bit of space from the downtown area loved the sweeping vistas and the unparalleled view of the night sky unmarred by light pollution. ."

"Great communication with owner. Owner was so accommodating. He let us drop the trailers off at the property early so that we didn’t have to drag them around town. There was a disposal issue and he sent the maintenance man right over. So many fun activities. Hot tub was fantastic. Beds are so soft and warm. Houses AC worked perfectly. We will be back for sure! Only flaw that is not owners fault is the next door neighbors. They get very angry and will come talk to you if you do anything they don’t like. Example we were going 22 down the road that has a speed limit of 20 and the male neighbor came out very irate and yelled at us. We had respected their earlier request to not ride the ATVs at the property but apparently that wasn’t enough. "
