“What a wonderful and cozy place to stay! It’s a separate cottage from the house with a little sitting area out front in the shade of so many local trees. The room was cute and clean with an attached full kitchen for use. We loved that full privacy from the main house was an option, but the owners were also very friendly and hospitable for lodgers who enjoy the company. The hosts taught us so much about the island culture, places to go, and great food and we loved getting to know them. Thank you……

“Check-in was easy and house was very clean! Instructions were clear as to who to contact for anything, and Roy and Alex were responsive and extremely helpful! Things for future guests: there is a small cooler to use for the beach, plenty of beach towels, and plenty of snorkeling gear for 9 of us (with all sizes too). There was no cooking oil, charcoal for the grill, coffee, salt or sugar; so you’ll want to get those things at a grocery store near Georgetown before coming to the North Side.……

“The location was perfect for us and the setup of the house worked well for us. Enough restaurants and places to visit and swim in the north & east end was nice. We loved that each beach we went to had something different to offer. Of course, stingray city and all the snorkel opportunities was the highlight for our group. Very nice you can snoknel right from many restaurants. The only two things I would suggest, if # 1... replace all the pots and pans. # 2: Ensure vacationers know the twin……

“Amazing location, just perfect! Exactly as described. The neighborhood was quiet and perfect, we never had to use the pool (but I did look and it was nice). The cove was protected from the crazy winds happening this week, but had enough to keep it cool. The host had everything you need - bikes, kayaks, beach towels, even sunscreen! We did need to get some soap, but otherwise just perfect. We had an amazing week. We love the quieter north side and will 100% stay here again! ”

“Very quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of town. We stayed with kids and parents and loved the proximity to wonderful restaurants/attractions but also the distance from the capital city. The house was spacious and clean and I would recommend to anyone looking to stay on the north side. ”

“Perfect house for 2 families on the North Side of the island. Very private. We loved our own beach and the snorkeling 15 yrds from shore. Very close to a small grocery store that was perfect for topping off what we needed. 10 minutes from Rum Point/Starfish Point/Kaibo Marina. 20 minutes to the East End beaches at Wyndham/Morritts.”

“Tarasand is a beautiful property with a backyard beach that invites the whole family to be outside. Our 3 year old granddaughter loved the sand and lack of surf. The beach bottom is lumpy with some sea grass and sand mounds. We had starfish along the beach everyday, no need to go to starfish city. The North Sound is great for kayaks and paddleboards but good snorkeling requires some travel. The Rum Point reef is in the area. I did miss the sound of the surf.
