"The Villa itself was spacious and decent. All the basic amenities and the green space out front was nice. However, there was a lack of hooks for towels in the bathroom, which is odd given the fact many people come to Okinawa for the beach. The location was in a nice residential neighbourhood, but felt like no man’s land in terms of eateries etc. If you’re vegetarian, like me, good luck. "宿泊施設と連絡がほとんど取れず、非常に不安だった。「駐車場は何台停められるか?」という質問の返信に１ヶ月以上を要した上、「１台しか停められない」と言われた。宿泊可能人数８人に対して駐車可能台数１台は少なく、大変不便だった。また、「宿泊前に代表者のメールアドレスと身分証が必要だから送ってほしい」と言われたが、指定されたメールアドレスが送信不能なメールアドレスであり、「違うメールアドレスを提示してほしい」と丁寧に連絡しても最後まで返信はなかった。緊急連絡先に何度電話をしても、繋がらず、「連絡できる緊急連絡先を教えてほしい」というメッセージも無視された。宿泊日前日の夜にハウスルールやチェックイン方法が送られてきたが、本当に最初から最後まで杜撰で最悪だった。"

Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island Okinawa

"We stayed a couple of years ago and was impressed that this has become a regular stay on our future visits. Staff was as friendly and receptive as the past and one of the things that stood out. Breakfast buffet was as good as we remembered, but price is now on the upper end and challenges value now. There is not much things to do, or eat nearby, you just about have to drive everywhere, Nago being the closest large city with everything you need. Onna is closer but limited in what it offers. Pricing, fees, and taxes have now crept into hotel charges, but I think this is everywhere. Still a no tipping culture, but hotels now have 15% service charges included. Staff is still what continues to stand out."

Grand Mercure Okinawa Cape Zanpa Resort

"We booked in to the Grande Mercure for 3 nights during our 14 day trip for a bit of a relax with the kids (ages- 9, 10, 11 & 12). This totally hit the spot! We chose the executive level so we'd have access to the breakfast, snacks and drinks throughout the day and it was the best decision we made. It is a huge lounge with tons of space for families. We had great breakfast options and the coffee and drinks throughout the day were exceptional. We did not eat at the main restaurant but enjoyed lunches and one dinner at the Pizza/Waterside restaurant. It was nice to have the executive lounge space to get together with our friends, the kids could play games/cards and the adults were able to snack, read and drink when we weren't at the pool. The rooms were very well appointed and the waterslides, pools, lazy river and beach are all well maintained and easy to access. Of note, kids under 13, must be accompanied by an adult on the big tube waterslide AND in the water. That was a disappointment for us as our kids are all athletic swimmers but needed supervision IN the water at all times. We wished there was a swim test so the lifeguards could identify kids who are capable in the water. This was a very minor thing but did affect how we spent our time. Also of note, if its too windy (which we encountered during our time), there is no ability to open the umbrellas meaning there is next to no shade available at the pool. We had an exceptional meal @ Maruki Pizza a short Uber ride away."
