“Overall, the stay wasn’t bad, but it felt a bit underwhelming considering the price of the room. On the positive side, the hotel was very clean, well-stocked, and clearly family-friendly—they even provided games, along with brand new crayons and coloring books for kids. The staff was also friendly and welcoming. My biggest issue was the noise level. On Friday night around 9:30 PM, a group with children checked into the room next door and above us. There was a lot of running, stomping, and……

“Gorgeous location, Everything is very spread out so you must be up to lots of walking. Limited restaurant hours and no guest amenities in the lobby. A circuit blew so we lost power at 11:00pm. The pool has no changerooms or full showers or towels, and no robes are available so you have to walk soaking wet from pool to room. Pool itself is great. ”

“Everything about this place was wonderful! I highly recommend the ocean house for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful retreat. The views were spectacular and the beach was serene! I would definitely stay here again.”

“Not a very nice place. Grumpy old guy. Dated furnishings. The beds were up on blocks of wood on which i stubbed my toe and bled everywhere. We did a 7 night road trip and this was the the worst place. Would not recommend. ”

“The only issue I had was minutes after I checked into our room, I started sneezing and smelling like there was mold. It is carpeted. The patio seemed scary to walk on to and run down. The patio door was difficult to open as I have back issues. The staff was very friendly. The free breakfast was good, but only have 4 tables. ”

“Lovely place just north of town. An older place that's been updated and well cared for. Nice big room with a view and little porch. Room was clean, a light on, and warm for our arrival. Wished we could have stayed longer and we will be back. ”

“Great hotel, we love to stay at the beach and this property was right there, ocean view room, so quiet, our room even had a fireplace. We definitely enjoyed our time there. Not to mention small sandy area behind with fire pits as well. Overall we would love to comeback ”
