Sandusky Central Park Hotels

"Location inside of Cedar Point was great! The hotel itself was fine. However, I am not sure we would ever stay again. We got there early on day one, well prior to check-in. Had to wait 1/2 hr in line to get to the desk. Obviously our room was not ready but we were able to get checked in and get out park tickets. They told us they would text us when our rooms were ready. Went to the park for a couple of hours and at 3:30p, still no text. So, we get back in line, waited another 1/2 hr, only to find out that our rooms were still not ready! Check-in time is 4p and it was 4p! Went back in to the park and received a text that our room was ready, 15 minutes later! We went back to the hotel and now the line to check in was even longer, probably a 45 minute wait! Moral of the story is that the hotel is fine but clearly their check-in process is flawed. Even though we went through the process to sign everything and put down the security deposit in the morning, we still had to wait in that line just to get our room keys. The line remained long in to the night, hearing complaints from many other guests. Clearly it’s a problem they need to rectify. "

"One of the nicest hotel rooms I have stayed in. The staff went above and beyond in their assistance. Parking was off site but there was a parking lot across the street and in front of the hotel and told it was ok to park there but unsure if always the case in busier times. The attached restaurant was excellent and reasonable. The location was downtown and very convenient. My issue was they only had streaming on the TV and the internet access was down during my stay. The staff tried to help but were unsuccessful and said it is not unusual, so I ended up without TV. The restaurant seemed to have TV and I would have preferred to have stayed in a less nice hotel which had TV than a nicer one that did not. It ruined what otherwise would have been a great stay, The only other issue was that the name of the hotel was on the building but not on their door and would have to cross the street to see it. I had to ask where the hotel was and was standing just outside."

"Great location you get early entry because it’s an actual cedar point resort and the pool is really cool too."

"We were in Sandusky for vball tourney. This place is a short drive to cedar point sports complex and several restaurants. Also walking distance to marina and park on Sandusky bay. We had the upstairs unit so wouldn’t recommend if u have any issues with stairs but otherwise perfect for the three of us. Off street parking and able to park right next to entrance of unit. Enjoyed our stay"

"The rooms were amazing. The theater was wonderful. The host responded quickly to any questions. The kitchen & bar exceeded any expectations. So many extra conveniences were included in our stay. "

"We would absolutely stay here again. It was a great location close to great restaurant options and pretty views of the downtown and water. In the reviews I read the biggest complaint was the noise level. You could clear as day hear any conversations of other rooms if you were in the hallway. Once inside our rooms it wasn’t as bad but we are pretty easy sleepers and other guests were very respectful."
