「The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The property was well maintained and beautiful. The staff from housekeeping, bar, concierge, wait staff to front desk were fantastic. They all went out of their way to make you feel welcomed and valued. Thank you all for an enjoyable time.」

「Wonderful staff that help you a lot. During our 6 days of stays, they hlped us in orientation, restaurant recommendation, car rental, travel suggestions, communication in delayed luggage, etc. 1 min to the old harbor ans great harbor view on the roof with music, snacks and drinks. I have to say great service that I seldom seen in my yeas of traveling around the world.」

「The hotel had a 80s decor and vibe, but the not-so-modern outlook is totally, if not over compensated, by the impeccable service, cleanliness, view at the breakfast restaurant, quality of food, and the ample size of the swimming pools which provide more than enough room for everybody to enjoy. We have had an amazing time there! I paid extra for a side sea view room because the picture looks like a frontal sea view, but it wasn’t, and I probably would not have chosen the same room type next time....

「We came back for a second year with our 2 boys and loved our stay yet again. We were given a free upgrade to a superior family mezzanine room which was a fab start to the stay. Our balconies overlooked the harbour, our favourite pool and the mountains behind. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, as it was last year, the pools were always accessible and never overcrowded and the safety of the resort meant we were never worried about the boys (10 and 12) going between beach and pool. 「Hotel Spanzia is a true gem of a property. Great staff. Excellent location for exploring Chania. Breakfast is not the usual lineup of warming trays. Served in the hotel’s perfect garden area, eggs are served as you wish with many choices. We had the upper floor room with a loft ( we didn’t use) . Bed are comfortable. Lovely furnishings in our room and throughout the hotel. Highly recommend.」
