"I chose our stay in Charleston, based on the location, The French Quarter, the Inn’s photographs seen on their listing and pricing. Unfortunately this historic winter ice storm “Fern”, spanning across much of the country prevented us from enjoying the area due to the cold and wind, but the photos of the Inn were spot on. The interior of the building was amazing, our room was very spacious and gorgeous. The building’s exposed (painted) exterior brick walls and massive wood post and beam construction with era style woodwork just tells a person that this is just not another over night stay, but a relaxing welcoming. Earning complimentary drinks through our booking along with a set of complimentary drinks at check-in for my wife and I from the Inn we took advantage of the offering at the bar without hesitation. Dinning out is a moderate walk, but with the extreme weather, we choose not to venture out to far and took advantage of what “Harris Teeter” grocery store directly across the street from the inn had to offer, so we made a purchase and had a light dinner in room. The Inn provides a nice light breakfast with a welcomed 12pm checkout. Staff are pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommend this place."
