We have never stayed in a rental that was as well supplied as this on. Jonathan was very generous with consumables, even purchasing a box of Girl Scout cookies to share with our visiting grandkids. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. It was a very comfortable stay in a low traffic neighborhood that was perfect for walking, and there were many stores and restaurants within a 5 minute drive. Folly Beach was only 15 minutes away, although on our last day there the weather was beautiful and traffic was quite heavy - would recommend going early.
James County Park, 8 minutes away with an excellent dog park.
Seat Turtles at James County Park.
We saw three alligators at James County Park, locals were unfazed.

The perfect stay

This was our first time visiting the Charleston area and found this property perfect for what we needed. There was plenty of room for six guests. The host Jon was super friendly and very accommodating. The house was clean and the all the mattresses were very comfortable. The location is perfect whether you’re going to Folly beach or downtown. The fact that it was pet friendly was a life saver. We would definitely rent again.

Perfect Spot

We were in Charleston for a wedding with 2 adult children. The location was great, convenient to James Island, Folly Beach, and downtown Charleston. The house was clean and inviting, beds comfy, and there were no strange rules! We'd definitely stay again.

Great spot for family trip

Had a great stay at the home, was great location, central to everything, and the host Jonathon was great. He allowed us to drop some things off and change at the house when we had a last minute change of plans and arrived a couple hours early of check in and he was very attentive during the stay and made sure everything was great. Hope to be back in further if available.

Jonathon was a great and very accommodating host and the location was perfect! We would have given our stay there a 10/10 but due to some uncleanliness issues inside and outside from past guests, an unkept looking backyard, and an old camper in the backyard (the photos of the property showed a small shed, not a camper) caused us to need to lower our review.

Awesome Stay in Charleston

We had an outstanding stay at Jonathan‘s house in the Charleston area. Super spot to reach Charleston downtown and Folly Beach. The house is pretty and perfectly suited for a whole family. Jonathan is a superb host (thanks for the beer and popcorn;-)) and has build a nice outdoor shower which is highly recommended.

Great Home on James Island

I live locally in Charleston and rented this home for my parents and family that where down for my wedding. The location is perfect, we were ten minutes from Folly Beach and only 10-ish minutes from downtown. The house has lost of living space and the beds are all very comfy. But my favorite part was the swing on the tree in the backyard.

Thanks so much for providing such a warm and wonderful place to stay while renovating our property. The location is incredibly convenient to Folly Beach,Downtown Charleston,West Ashkey and a johns Island .. Several restaurants, parks and stores to choose from. What more could you ask for? This home has a big yard for those furry family members joining in on vacation.

This was an awesome stay and Jonathon was the best host. He communicated and responded quickly via texts. Super nice person. The house was totally clean and comfortable, free of odors. The beds were very comfortable, plenty of towels, and the outdoor shower was an added treat! The neighborhood was quiet and safe. About 8 minutes to Folly Beach and 15 minutes to Charleston. We did not encounter any issues what so ever. We highly recommend staying at this property.

Great layout and yard!

This house is very clean, comfortable, and cute with a great inside layout with a spacious living area with a large comfy sectional and huge tv. The outdoor shower is amazing, super spacious and private. LOVE having double doors to a patio from the master bedroom! The fenced in yard is private and was perfect for my dog. The host Jonathan stays in a separate unit on the property and is super welcoming and helpful! When I arrived, a bag with a bottle of wine fell out of my car and not only did he help me clean up, he surprised me by getting me a replacement bottle and leaving it by my door. He also offered his tools and help while me and my dad were trying to change the brake light in my car. He is very communicative and goes out of his way to be a stellar host. I highly recommend staying here!
