Would definitely stay there again

The location cannot be beat. Felt like a local and was right at all the sites I wanted to see. Given that the unit is right on the street and the windows in that region are generally thin, you do hear traffic in the early morning sometimes.

Absolutely wonderful!

The house is an absolute delight to stay in! Located right in the heart of bustling Charleston, you have all the sights/foods/nightlife just a block or two away! The bedrooms are well equipped and very cozy. Definitely explore the Blind Tiger bar right across the street. The owners were a pleasure to work with.

Great location!

We walked to all the food and shopping and sites! The unit is spacious, clean and relaxing. Loved being in the city. Everyone is so kind. Only scraped my car once pulling in to the parking area.

Great Location in Charleston within walking distance to a lot of food and sites.

House was clean and neat with everything you need for your stay. Parking the car in the designated spot was interesting. The carriage tunnel in the back of the place where you enter with your vehicle to park is very tight so if you have a bigger vehicle this could be tricky.

Incredible location! Perfect for staying in the heart of Charleston with easy access to the city

The only downside was the leaving process, having to figure out where the trash cans are located to throw out trash. Location of trash cans was nearly impossible to find and ended up walking around the block with a bag of trash for a while

Absolutely charming!

This flat was appointed beautifully. The linens and towels were new, toiletries were nice, management was extremely responsive and it's in the heart of downtown with parking! The two bedrooms came with noise machines, and aside from the street sweepers, we heard nothing. The bakery downstairs is perfect for morning coffee and the pub across the street - The Blind Tiger, is great fun!

Perfect Girls Getaway

My best friend and I spent 3 days here. Were able to walk wherever we wanted to go. Perfect location for seeing historical Charleston. Great food options nearby. Buying fresh baked goods for breakfast from the local bakery next door a highlight. Remeber to bring your own coffee, filters, surgars, and creamers. Also would be helpful to print a channel guide for TV and a pedestal makeup mirror.

Perfect Location.

Of all our multiple stays in Charleston this was by far the best location and we were able to bring our pup! Came in at 2am and the parking situation was a bit confusing (drive past Broad and turn on Elliot…parking is in rear of property). The entry into the parking area is narrow but we shimmied in as our sports vehicle is wide. After getting the hang of things, we had the best time! The property backs up to the beautiful South of Broad Area so night walking was a dream and just a few blocks from all our fav eating spots, Dock Street Theater, the Market, and King St shopping. We will be regulars at this property for sure!

Excellent location

The location is impossible to beat. The property is as described. There is one dedicated parking space. Ask for the detailed parking instructions; they’ll really help. Please note: the neighboring property is under construction. To get in and out of the parking spot required that we ask the construction workers to move their equipment and vehicles each time. Fortunately, over the course of our 4 day stay, we only left by car twice.

Some pros and cons

Overall this was a nice place. The location to many great restaurants was great! Decent size rooms, comfy beds, and a great shower. There were some disappointments though. The first is the street noise was awful every night and early morning. Between the late night traffic, the 4am street sweeper and extremely loud garbage trucks, my husband and I did not get good sleep at all. Other small details were - there is no ice maker in fridge (or freezer to store any), the toilet had a wobbly seat and would constantly run if you didn’t put the handle in the exact position, and the couch was very uncomfortable to sit on (definitely couldn’t lay on it either). It had zero cushioning! Also, the front door to the building was never locked.

Perfect Location

We had a great time. The property was very nice and had a parking space! The location is perfect for a short walk to everything you would want to visit. Lots of great restaurants abound. Would recommend to anyone visiting Charleston.

Great Location and Beautifully Decorated!

The Honeydew was great! The property manager allowed us to check in earlier in the day, which was fantastic. It’s centrally located, just a short walk to several must-visit places in Charleston! It’s also dog friendly and in an area with several dog-friendly shops, parks, and restaurants! Our stay would have been 5 stars vs 4 stars with attention to a few aspects related to upkeep and comfort, unrelated to the fact that this is a historic home. For example, we would have preferred to have privacy shades on the bedroom windows facing Broad St. (we just had to be mindful to change clothes not in the bedrooms after dark) coffee filters (paper towels worked fine as a substitute!) instead of access to the Wonderer. Very minor, easy to fix things that shouldn’t deter anyone from booking this gorgeous place, but worth mentioning to those expecting a luxury stay before they’re fixed. The space is decorated beautifully and communication for check in and out was perfect!

Location, location, location

Wonderful stay in downtown Charleston. Walking distance to all the tourist destinations. Brand new Bagels by Kiss just two doors down. Clean, nice sized bathroom. Beds were very comfortable. Nugget ice maker a nice addition. There is a full set of stairs to climb but they are inside and very well lit. We will definitely return.

Great location

We stayed the weekend of SEWE. This is a great location with many restaurants nearby. Since we were driving a SUV, we didn’t even attempt to park in the lot, but there is a public garage very close. When we arrived Thursday evening, there was a parking spot on the street right in front. Sunday morning, there were lots of spots which made it easy to load up. One of our favorite restaurants in Charleston is Fast and French, which is only a couple of blocks away and we highly recommend it.
