Excellent included breakfast actually served at tables in the lovely courtyard by pleasant staff. That was really a nice way to start each day. The included wine and sherry later in the day were also appreciated.

The Kings Courtyard Inn was really nice. Although they charge $35 a night to park which was a block away and you had to park on the top floor (5 floors) of the parking garage. The big thing with booking on Expedia is they put you in the least favorable room always at the back of the hotel usually with no view and this has happen to me several times with booking on Expedia.

I had an excellent stay at Kings Courtyard Inn! Everything was truly on point. The front desk team was supportive and welcoming, the rooms were very clean, and room service was quick and responsive. The location is perfect, right in the heart of downtown Charleston, making it easy to explore the city.
The breakfast was very good, and I especially enjoyed the daily wine and cheese reception from 5–6 PM. It was beautifully arranged and a wonderful touch. The charming courtyard with the fountain was also a lovely place to sit and relax.
Everyone was friendly, understanding, and accommodating throughout my stay. Overall, an excellent choice for staying in Charleston, and I would definitely recommend it!

Wonderful stay! We ended up parking at a parking garage on Queen St that was cheaper ($25 a day vs $35) which was not an issue what so ever. We had the option with Kings Courtyard which was wonderful considering they are downtown in the midst of the action! Would stay here again!

Loved this historic inn! Probably the most convenient location we could have asked for in terms of walking distance to everything we wanted to do. The room was super clean and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful in providing tips. The best and most unique part of the stay was the complimentary evening wine and cheese, plus sherry at night!
