Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charleston Dwtn - Westedge by IHG
6/10 Okay
"Shower horrible-no water pressure-had to change rooms.
Disrupted our plans and very inconvenient.
Should be compensated. Staff very understanding. Ran out of tissues and almost toilet paper.
Poor location to get into downtown."

The Vendue
8/10 Good
"The room itself was wonderful—bright, vibrant, and fun! The shower was hot, the bathroom was huge!
However, the ground-floor location created a significant privacy issue, as the walking path is right against the window. I felt quite exposed to passersby looking in. I’d suggest adding a reflective privacy film to the glass or ensuring curtains provide full coverage without blocking all the light.
Also, be warned: "Breakfast" is just a small bag hung on your door with a banana, an apple and some tiny pastries. It felt misleading to call that a breakfast. It would be way better if they set up a grab-and-go station by the coffee.
On a much higher note, make sure to go across the street to the rooftop restaurant! The food was amazing, the vibe was great, and the waitstaff was absolutely wonderful. It was the perfect way to spend the evening."

The Ryder Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel was so cute and the pool and restaurant/bar area were really great. "

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Charleston Riverview
4/10 Poor
"As someone who has stayed in several of the La Quintana locations this location was not as expected. Breakfast was bland and poor (definitely not appetizing as your website claims. Front desk staff apon arriving was scratching her head bad and thought i was trying to take a picture of her while i was on my phone handling business and also had no idea what the snack prices where and said we could not chargeto room but during checkout another staff member asked if i would like to charge the drink i had planned on purchasing before leaving to the room( very confusing as we where told that could not be done the night before. Hall on second floor smells of a sweat shop and poor air circulation. Room was somewhat cleaned, found hair tie on floor u der table which means floor did not get vacuumed properly. Beds looked and felt like they have been in the room for years, you could clearly see where the beds have caved in from never being turned or flipped. A/C did not work properly, made room smell musky and it stayed warm all night. Elevator kept messing up. Only positive side is the close proximity to downtown. Will not be returning to this location."

Andrew Pinckney Inn
10/10 Excellent
"This is a lovely hotel/inn. The great location and polite staff made our stay very comfortable. The room was tasteful and clean, the breakfast as well as the complimentary wine and cheese were served in the pretty fourth floor solarium. We really enjoyed a feeling of luxuriousness but also quaintness during our stay here. "

The Francis Marion Hotel
6/10 Okay
"Loud, small and smelly. This is not a four star hotel. We were on the 10th floor and still could hear street noise-not just traffic, but people talking(shouting).
Our room was tiny, the bathroom is one person only, no counter space. So no place to put your toiletries. The people we were traveling with had a corner room thst was significantly larger, but bathroom is the same.
