“We really enjoyed our stay at The Iris. We stayed in a superior suite which was bright and light and with all that we needed for four nights. It turned out we were in a great area with lots of delicious dining options and a short walk from King Street which is the Main Street in Charleston. We walked everywhere. We would totally recommend and would come back if we visit Charleston again. ”

“I read the description and reviews thoroughly so I wasn’t surprised by anything. The interstate on-ramp right outside the window isn’t ideal but we knew about it in advance and brought earplugs/sound machines. The only thing we couldn’t have planned for was the construction of the house right next door. They started working at 7 am each day which was noisy. “Our family made fun memories in this beautifully located home over a dreary March weekend. The listing was accurate and the home was comfortable for the 5 of us. Just had a couple of small hiccups which were addressed quickly by the property manager. If you love the marsh as much as we do, this is a great place!”

“First stop on trip to Asheville and Blue Ridge. Arrival delayed by storms but no problems finding apartment or gaining entrance. Apt was roomy and well equipped. Could use more indoor seating but all worked out well.”

“This property was just perfect for my 2 night stay in Charleston. Very clean with everything you need. The backyard was a wonderful place to have my coffee in the morning and listen to the birds sing! I would absolutely stay here again!”

“FROG was clean, roomy and very comfortable. Only glitch was the door lock which was a bit touchy. Owner was watching from the house and immediately came to our aid.”

The house is difficult for older users. Only 1 of the two bedrooms has an en suite bathroom. The other has no closet and the bathroom is up another set of stairs and is tiny. Both bathrooms are upstairs and the stairs are a bit steep. The kitchen "table" consists of two IKEA rolling counters. The wheels do not seem to lock so they……

“What a great stay! The location is stellar, in walking distance to everything in historic Charleston but also a few streets over from all the crowds. Kit let us store our luggage when we arrived early and the place was spotless. Price was better than every other hotel in the area. Would recommend to any friend in Charleston!”

“One issue on parking. Two large semi trucks were parked across from handicap parking and I had to use parking garage. ”

“We were. In a good location convenient to shopping, dinner and a walk along the water. The restaurant at the hotel was excellent. Our only complaint was the location of our room (we had a room in the back of the hotel. Next time we will ask for a different room. Overall great atmosphere and friendly staff. ”
