Absolutely loved our stay The hotel is beautiful, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the location is perfect for exploring Charleston. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and upscale. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Loutrel! From the moment we arrived, the hotel smelled amazing and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms were beautiful, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and it was the perfect place to return to and relax after a full day of exploring Charleston. We especially loved the complimentary happy hour and snacks — such a thoughtful touch and a great way to unwind in the evenings. The Loutrel made our Charleston trip even more enjoyable, and we would absolutely stay here again!

This hotel is immaculate! Very very clean, attention to details, superb. Staff is amazing and super nice, thank you Brendan. The morning staff at breakfast, specifically Mrs. Brenda and her co-worker, so welcoming, nice, and friendly; made us really feel like family. Truly enjoyed getting to know them over breakfast. Cannot wait to come back!

Our stay at The Loutrel was amazing. They take excellent care of their guests. Breakfast was delicious every morning, as were the cocktails, the nightly one-bite desserts, and the mezzanine level that was stocked with snacks! I would recommend The Loutrel to anyone considering a stay in Charleston. The location and service can’t be beat!

We absolutely love staying at The Loutrel whenever we visit Charleston. This was our third stay, and it truly feels like coming back to a place that’s both special and welcoming. Everything is always spotless, and the hotel has such a beautiful, cozy feel. We especially love the lobby — it’s so charming and inviting, and it sets the tone for a relaxing stay from the moment you walk in. The Loutrel was one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed at. It’s “welcome cocktail,” free breakfast and “finest hour” included delicious food and drinks! The hotel room was spotless and decorated beautifully. The staff was attentive and friendly.

Amazing hotel, with the most helpful and friendly staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Beautiful, clean rooms, excellent location within walking distance of everywhere you want to be. Such a great experience, I can’t imagine ever staying anywhere else in Charleston. We traveled with my 16 and 20 yr old and they loved it too. One suggestion: get Bacardi behind the bar, that Hilton Head rum was like drinking lighter fluid. Thank you!

The staff was amazing. Everyone stopped to say hello. Our two kids enjoyed the snacks and drinks. They liked hanging out in the mezzanine lounge. Look at the parking lot over here. This is probably just a drive-through.We enjoyed the bar. The choices were great for kids and adults.

We cannot say enough about this jewel of a hotel! From the moment we entered, each encounter with any staff member was gracious and friendly. The lobby/lounge area is beautiful and the bar offers a great cocktail program, as well as a daily happy hour. Daily snacks and refreshing infused water and iced tea available as you come and go throughout the day Our room was so spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed and linens crisp and comfortable. Room also well appointed with snacks and beverages. Daily breakfast is another lovely treat- great way to start the day. Location of the property is also perfect! Walkable to the water, sites, restaurants and shopping! Will definitely stay again in the future!
