“Set in a quiet village centre; this hotel was just lovely. A warm welcome from the host, who explained everything about the room and gave me pointers to all the restaurants/bars nearby. Comfy bed, lovely shower and bath, Nespresso machine, smart TV which also had BBC 1/2/News for us travelling from the UK. I travelled to the country by train and there is an excellent bus service from Amsterdam to Monnickendam; where it's about a 10 minutes walk to the hotel. No need for cash as they take……

“The room is well-renovated and clean. Nearby environment is beautiful and quite. However, the transportation is too inconvenient. It requires almost an hour to go to the hotel from Amsterdam Central.”

“Beautifully renovated historic building with beautiful garden and a top-notch restaurant. The new lift is especially good, saving us the effort to wrestle luggages up the steep stairs typically of older Dutch buildings. Quiet surroundings at the historic city center. Very nice and helpful staff. Oh, and the breakfast is well worth the money. Everything is tasty.”

“Easy check in at Yays Maritime hotel nearby with complimentary taxi to the crane. Spotlessly clean, fun place to stay. Bikes provided, but only a short walk to Amsterdam Central station. ”

“We had such a wonderful stay that we even decided to extend it. The hotel is peaceful, very comfortable, and the atmosphere is so friendly it felt like home. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent! Everything was delicious, especially the tomato tartare. Breakfast was also over the top, absolutely yummy! When we were looking to book, we noticed the hotel was a bit outside the city, but once we got there we realized it was an easy 10-15 min uber ride into the busy city center. Honestly, that was……

“My stay at ROOM 106 with its perfect pillows and bedding was delightful. The room had comfortable natural light and a beautiful river view. It's just a 5-minute walk to the nearest supermarket, with a safe and smooth path. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room itself was spacious and clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom featuring heated floors — essential during Amsterdam's winter. Staying at The July - Boat & Co is likely to become one of my fondest……
