The highlight was the entrance and the lobby, beyond that the property was a little run down and could do with a revamp. Our room was a good size but dark and appeared a little dated. There was a single false eyelash under one the pillows which made us question the overall cleanliness. The sheets were either bobbly or there was sand in the bed, either way it was rather uncomfortable to sleep on. The bathroom was small and dark with a walk in shower. The silicone seal in the shower was leaking causing the bathroom floor to flood when showering. On a positive note, the shower pressure was great and the shower gel had a pleasant scent. There was a lot of dust on the headboard, suspicious stains on the carpets and also on the wallpaper above the bed. The furniture was also very worn. The location was great with plenty of shops and dining options nearby. Parking at £10 per night reasonable, but parking spaces are limited and quite tight.
