Beautiful room with a great shower. Our only bug bear was that our window opened up onto a hedge, so we had no natural light in our room whatsoever. The area also seemed to be storage for broken chairs / ladders - a disappointing view after spending so much on the room. That being said, we had a lovely stay. Staff were friendly, and food in the restaurant was fantastic.
Staff were really friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and tidy. Location was great especially if you were using it a base to visit the rest of the Cotswolds.
Quaint old stone cottage style building with lots of history, beautifully preserved and decorated. Very comfortable bedding, modern shower with push button control. Conveniently located to town center, shopping, and bus stop. Restaurant on site was excellent as well. Staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful.
Room was spatious and clean. However the bed was a bit hard so not very comfortable. Breakfast was okay but not clear the cost of it

Disliked: Staff & service
The room was nice: I realize that AC is not a common luxury but when paying $450/ night I would have assumed there was air conditioning. The rug in the lobby had severe water damage which looked very dirty. The worst situation was the bartender. I went up to order a drink for my husband. I asked for a brand of beer, and the bar tender laughed at my request, Instead, I ordered him a gin and tonic (his second choice). I don’t drink gin and when the bar tender offered me 10 choices I asked him to pick something mid range. He literally refused and argued with me that he wouldn’t make a suggestion. I literally walked away almost in tears at how aggressive he was. My husband accompanied me back to the bar to eventually place the order and the bartender had a better attitude, but the whole restaurant experience was just “off”.
Beautiful quaint hotel, clean and comfortable bed with amazing snug bedding! Large bar and restaurant area with very helpful and attentive staff, will definitely stay again.
A fabulous overnight stay. Enjoyed the Summer sunny evening vibes in the lovely beer garden with an excellent pint of Brakspear Gold. Dinner in the restaurant was very good as was breakfast the following morning. Would definitely stay again
Quiet and relaxing property, perfect for the needed getaway. Loved the small town atmosphere and picture perfect walk paths to explore the countryside!
The photos don't do this place justice.
It is a charming and a gorgeous place to stay in the center of the little town. The restaurant is awesome with a beautiful outdoor area for cocktails and drinks. The rooms are so cute and well appointed and decorated. This is the an amazing English inn. The front desk is so friendly and super helpful. The restaurant is cozy with tons of character and great food.

The property was a in good condition and had parking which was excellent.
Lovely boutique hotel with very friendly and attentive staff. I'd also really recommend eating in the restaurant - the team were lovely and the food delicious. Will definitely be booking again.
The hotel was lovely, the staff helpful and the restaurant had excellent food. The only downsides were that it was quite warm with no fan or ac and our daughter’s room was at the very top of some stairs that were daunting.
