"The Motel was old but very comfortable and well located within Bryson City. The manager was very helpful and friendly. He had a map available of Bryson City with restaurants and other available areas of interest. He was most helpful. I would recommend this motel to others. "

"The staff was wonderful. While the my room was ok, the bathroom was molded from the ceiling to floor. The toilet worked but was an afterthought, extremely cramped. The Coach's bar and restaurant was a great recent upgrade. Obviously, that is where they make some money. But, the hotel itself is in desperate need of massive renovation. The quaintness of the oldest hotel in the area has definitely worn off. The lack of attention to the hotel rooms and bathrooms shows maybe it is time for the...
